I love how well Tiny Turbos utilized specialized pieces. Look at that Slope-thing used as the windshield!
Ack too many stickers...
I’m gonna be sick.
@Your future president: The Tiny Turbos definitely overdid stickers. One (I forget which) even had a sticker on the edge of a plate.
@Your future president
Even as a kid I hated the STAMP prominent across the Tiny Turbos theme.
I don't know about y'all, but here new RSOTDs show up at around 10 pm, so indeed, this is a Night Rider.
Is that engine chrome? Niiiice.
Except that sunset where I am is not until after 8PM lol.
P.S. I have this set.
Boo to the stickers.
Yay to all that shiny chrome.
No chrome in this one - that air scoop is metallic silver. And no STAMPs, but three stickers cover the 4x4 wedge that makes up the back hood.
12 stickers over 10 parts. So 25% of the parts are stickered - wow. Tho this probably looks ok without applying them.
Knight Rider? Kitt?
No - not quite...
@phi13 I thought you were joking but turns out, you weren't... https://brickset.com/sets/8152-1/Speed-Chasing
@SirZed, wow, nice catch. Nonetheless, I liked this theme.
^ Sticker on the side of a plate, notwithstanding, that's actually a cool set.
I loved Tiny Turbos and had pretty much all of them. What's better than a matchbox car, a Lego version, so if you wanted you could swap bits and have a spoiler or not or add a chrome ish engine. Bring them back.... mini Speed Champions........ And im not sure of the environmental aspect, or kids safety but glow in the dark too.
@phi13 that set actually has a sticker across two parts, and the glow in the dark pieces only appear to be used in Tiny Turbos
@SirZed It apparently happened multiple times, because I don't have that one...
EDIT: 8148-1, which I have, has a sticker applied the same way as the one you mentioned. But I think the one I'm remembering is 8663-1, which commits far worse sticker crimes. Fortunately, by the time I got it, I had decided to stop applying STAMPs.
