Phew. No more Clikets. I can now sleep in peace.
Don’t tell Huwbot I’m getting a little tired of his Clikets...
I kinda liked the sports theme... now there’s another of Huwbot’s obsessions.
We gotta find better images of the sets in Sports than what was used for their instruction covers. I can barely tell what this set is about other than Basketball.
I know the image isn't as big as Huw would like for Brickset, but even this small one on BrickLink helps communicate the set better: https://img.bricklink.com/ItemImage/EXTN/1338.png
Dang, I missed the Clikits!
Whatever, this set's cool. Weird but cool. Their spring-y legs and noodle-y arms and agressive faces and whatnot.
I agree that, at times, the execution was a bit lacking, but I loved the sports theme in general, just because of all the interesting scenery it added to anyone's Lego City. The city finally had soccer fields and basketball courts and things like that, and I liked that.
I ended up getting 3428-1 One vs One Action instead of this, but I would have loved to see the mechanism of this one in action. Good thing I had my priorities straight and focused on getting 3432-1, which I enjoyed very much — but that came at the cost of eschewing 3431-1 which I sorely regret missing out on.
Sports would be such a great theme to bring back for City. Plenty of $20, $50 and $100 options.
Those spring-loaded Minifig Legs were incredible!
Ultimate Defense... oh so you're trying to defend against the resurgence of Clikits yesterday?
Baaallllllls ! Long live gbc. Bring some more balls at a decent price
Well, I like most things called "Ultimate".
I like how there was that fake (?) rumour of Sports returning for 2019. That obviously hasn’t happened, but I reckon it’s my one wish for Lego in 2020.
That's quite ultimate)
