By in United States,

Guess this is what Huwbot will have for a secondary girls' theme instead of Clikits until 2022, when Friends sets would be possible for the RSOTD.

By in United States,

Admittedly, I've gotten into Belville dolls. I've recently started having a flair for 3 3/4" action figures, and Belville are pretty close. Good articulation and inexpensive, I almost always throw a couple in my Bricklink orders if a seller has new ones.

But, they suck in terms of the sets. There isn't much actual building, and the dolls are twice the size of a minifig.

Oh my god, those doors are gorgeous!

By in Australia,

Belville buildings weren't so much sets as they were just ... walls.

I do like all those gorgeous transparent pieces, though.

Just a guess, but I’m guessing these sets came in an era when Lego wa trying to appeal to younger buyers and builders, who wanted a quick build-to-play toy and didn’t care about realism.

By in United Kingdom,

in the same way you could see ninjago dna in yesterday's exo-force, you can see friends dna in this belville.
I kind of want those translucent tower top pieces though...

By in Finland,

You have to admit - some of the Belville pieces were really nice. They even use that big snowflake piece to this day.

By in Netherlands,

Just browsed through the theme's sets and I had no idea the theme ran for so long. Twelve years!! That's an eternity for today's standards..

Not my thing this theme, though I like some parts in it. Besides the transparant medium-blue ice crystal pieces I see 1x1 and 1x3(?) bricks in light aqua colour, a trans medium-blue 1x2 brick and besides that teddy bear is that a lamp post in the background in teal?!

By in Poland,

That gate would be great for Elsa castle moc!

By in Netherlands,

And now they put the ice crystal in the newest Xtra pack :D

By in United States,

It says 2 minifigs. I thought those where figures not minifigures.

By in Singapore,

RIP trans-medium blue.

And...we're back to the "normal" random set selection! Maybe Castle, Space and Star Wars will return some day.

Huh. That’s a thing that exists.
