Early 90s Town is just the tonic that makes your day instantly better, isn't it?
^ Agreed! Fly into the sunset after a long week...
He still has his training wheels.
I miss those little propellers...
I think this is the last Lego set my parents ever bought me. I had just started taking flying lessons at the time.
I swooshed this soooooo much. Thanks Brickset, I’m going to go and make mine again after 30 years.
There are a few of these beautiful little planes. I love the look and build of the era. This was (still is though) Lego to me, not the big Playmobile type planes...
Solo trained on this, before he got license for the Falcon.
Brickset readers may get a kick out of this YouTube video:

Someone made a giant foam version of this set and actually flew it like an RC plane.
@iwybs Thank you so much for that- Life Changing. I hope Brickset adds that to the video review links for the set’s page.
Still have this one, one of the few non-Space sets I have from the era. Great little plane.
This was one of our first planes, IIRC. A great little plane that got even better once you found out just how easily this could be changed into a floatplane: idea book 260 page 25
The slope parts where super. Not as realistic, not round, but perfectly fitting and universally usable.
Thank you for the video!
I have this. It's one of my favorite planes from when I was younger. It's simple, easy to mod fits perfectly into a kids hand and incredibly swooshable because of that :)
Thanks huwbot
@iwybs That was an awesome video! Like seeing my childhood come to life, I love this set so much! To see it flying around was truly amazing, thank you!!
Love the detail of the little fuel pump to fill up the plane as well.
I thought the Solo Trainer was 75127 ;)
