Seems appropriate seeing as today is...

Yeah NO. ABSOLUTELY NO CORRELATION TO ANYTHING. COMPLETELY RANDOM. POSITRONIC MATRIX OVERLOAD.

By in New Zealand,

The instructions are fascinating and completely unrelated to Halloween for some reason.

This is Halloween, this is Halloween, pumpkins scream in the dead of night...

How delightfully random and odd. Lovely.

I loved the reususable plastic buckets these sets used, as opposed to the flimsy cardboard most brick buckets used today. They were quite sturdy and held up--actually much longer than the milky translucent Sterlite-type tubs. We had one that was being used as a livestock feed bucket until relatively recently.

Funny LEGO has been doing this whole "sustainability" stuff all the while moving away from long-lasting and sturdy reusable plastic containers.

What a cool name!

By in Singapore,

When I saw the title I had a small heart attack and thought LEGO was making a Halloween set.

No. More Creator (I love how designers just give up and say “throw in some random bricks into a box and it’ll sell”).

"It's owned by 24 Brickset members."

That may be some kind of record. A random set almost nobody owns!

In 2003 orange was a rare color, so this set was a great resource for orange. As far as I know this set was only available in North America and it was seasonal. This might explain why so few bricksetters own this set.

Probably briefly available at North American stores like Walgreens or other such small shops. I never even saw one.

Finally some recognition on the 115th Spooktober! Most people these days just talk about New Years and Valentine's this time of the year, smh.

My heart leapt in my breast, and then I realised it was the random set thingy. I mean, we do get Hallowe'en sets nowadays, so there's really no call for me to get all excited. But Hallowe'eeeeen!

You do realize Halloween isn't until October 31, right?
