Solid heavy tyres were the best.

So many studs. Technic's really come a long way since then.

Even B model works for me. It would have been even better if it had a straight blade though.

Ah, I think this is the set that got me out of my dark ages. So darn cute!

Technic bricks perpendicularly pinned to other Technic bricks...

The mere sight of them & the requisite 2 plates between the bricks portals me straight back to childhood.

By in Germany,

I remember this set very well, because the at the time new "flex-system" in the tilting was a bit fiddling - and I think, it is now broken. Also the turnig circle was quite large, for a loader that small. But it has nice looks and was affordable for a ten year old me.

Easy enough to figure out what the top model is, but what is the one underneath supposed to be? Why have a scoop tucked away like that?

I think it’s supposed to be a grader, but in real life, they have blades that are long and flat, not an actual scoop.

Yes. Unfortunately.

@BlueCreeper512: definitely a grader. Perhaps they should have turned the scoop upside down to make it look more like the blade used on a grader.

I have this one! Tiny compared to many others, but still a fun one :-)

Beautiful!

By in Poland,

For me it's a beautiful set and I dreamed about it when I was 10 or 11 years old. Now I have it in MISB condition. It's time to break the seals finally. ;-)

I've still got this, complete with box - it was a reward from my folks for doing well in swimming at school!
