By in Australia,

It's a cute little mini-build, and I like the orange and chrome. But a sticker on a one-by-one cheese slope? Seems kind of excessive.

Nostalgia just hit me like a brick... I remember loving the coloration and shape of this one.

And just six years later, 8302-1 would be released.
See, Star Wars isn't the only theme that does rehashes.
There's a few changes in parts and the obvious color change, but these are basically identical as far as I'm concerned.

Awesome hot rod!

The database is showing a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO (30342) polybag under the Speed Champions banner. This seems to be the first we've had since the Shell promos in terms of decent small-scale cars. Hopefully, Tiny Turbos will eventually return as a subseries of Speed Champions. Honestly, it was my favorite LEGO theme growing up. New parts and techniques introduced since the line's discontinuation could lead to some pretty awesome cars, I think.

^This, though perhaps as a $5 line in a box like the 2014-2017 Creator 3 in 1s were.

Ha ha I get it! A 'brick'. Good one!

I liked the Racers theme. I was always trying to make launchers for the cars, but my limited assortment of Technic parts meant constant failure. I still have one of the fold-out road containers sitting on my build table holding odds and ends.

...Is this the wrong time to say that that was unintentional? >_>

Maybe it’s just me, but when I see the name “Flame Glider,” I do not immediately think of a hot rod.
More like a very fast engineless aircraft. Or perhaps a seriously malfunctioning rocking chair.

Lots of small cars in RSOTD lately

By in Finland,

This actually looks quite cool. I would love to see one in the same scale as 8649 Nitro Menace and 8682 Nitro Intimidator.

By in Germany,

Does it even have a chromed engineblock?
Sadly I was in my dark ages, such a cute little beauty!

I can only imagine how difficult it is to actually see out of this vehicle

Does the radiator really have a silver/chrome printed frame or is this just a trick on the eye in the box art?

Yes. The frame is silvery. I own a green one of these, so I’m basing it on that one.

My first ‘real’ set after my Dark Age. Still on display, somewhere...

Cool, a random set of the day that I both owned as a kid and still have built nowadays! I have particularly nostalgic memories given that this was one of the first System sets I ever owned.

The Tiny Turbos were amazing. Such small yet detailed builds for such a small price. And the fact that they came in canisters was awesome as well.

I really need to collect them all some day...

Thanks. That is interesting. I think I'll try getting a few of those.
