Great set for its parts. 4798 was just as good.

While I don’t remember actually seeing it together, my brother had the mutant squid set from that wave.

That title is a dozy ain't it. Ya think Ogel ripped apart a Throwbot to build this baby?

What exactly is a slizer?

Slizer was a LEGO theme that lasted between 1999 and 2000. The characters from that theme were called Slizers.

I find it interesting how LEGO reused the "Slizer" word twice after the original Slizer theme. They did it with the set showcased today, and again with Space Police 3 in 2009, where they introduced a character called Slizer.

By in Turkey,

Interesting set . I don't get the purpose though.

I’m not really sure what I’m looking at, but I like it.

Do you think this is what Ogel builds in his spare time, while he's waiting for one of his bigger shark or squid subs to be completed? Just sitting in his underwater base getting bored so he just slaps some bits and pieces together to annoy Alpha Team some more?

Do you se what's on the picture? A black diver, and something more balck, with some red saw?

By in Germany,

At first glance, I read Ogel UnderWEAR Slizer and thought "what on earth should that be good for"?

What is an Ogel?

By in United Kingdom,

Ogel is the reverse of Lego. The evil arch villain who does everything that is the opposite of the goodness of Lego.

The villain of the Alpha Team theme, a supervillain with various plans to take over the world via one means or another. He’s the guy with the helmet and hook hand in the set picture, not accompanied by any of his skeleton headed minions this time

These type of themes are so good.

I'm not sure if "slizer" was used in the set's title as a change in the word "slicer" to give it "zzzz" onomatopoeia of a sawblade, or if it was a reference to the Slizer theme.

Ogel himself was likely referenced in last year's space station, with the bearded old astronaut being named "Dr. Ogel" which is baffling to me, as Dr. Ogel does not look like Evil Ogel in any way, without his red eye. Dr. Ogel could also be a relation, but it's also hard to believe Ogel having any living family who is not involved in his evil plots.

Dr. Ogel name is on a sticker in the 2019 City Lunar Space Station set , it's weird.

The grey haired figure in that set.
