Quite blocky and no minifigure. Not much else to say.
‘Fire Chief’s Car’ is a set of a fire buggy without a figure.
Surely they should’ve called it ‘Fire Buggy’.
I'm guessing it was a polybag. Really could've used a minifig.
Fire Chief’s Car...
but where is he... where did he go?
I thought Lego only did these driverless car sets in the 90s like the infamous 1610 police car.
...I WANT to say that I had this, but with how many generic police/fire cars Lego has put out over the years, I can't say for sure.
Parts Analysis: Boring. The printed fire tile is rare (3 sets). Aside from that piece, almost any serious Lego fan could build this from their collection.

The important word here is "could" - not quite "would".
This is basically a broken-down and abandoned 7241-1.

I agree, I wouldn't even get it fot the parts.
“Fire Chief’s Car”?
No Fire Chief.
And apart from 4 wheels, it’s not really much like car.
Looks more like an ATV/Quad than a car to me. And about the Fire Chief, he's just off to get a donut.
I see the Fire Chief himself has gone into self isolation. Can’t be too careful!
The fire chief fell out and thus learned that seatbelts aren't optional.
Is anyone here a fireman/woman? I’d love to know if ‘chief’ is really included in the fire hierarchy
Shoutout to the 768 people who hit “Want” on this baby
This is a really special set to me as it is the second lego set/product that I ever owned

It's probably different in other countries, but my entire family (father, uncle, cousin, and some kids I went to school with) are all in the fire service, and I've never heard anybody mention a "fire chief". Maybe there's like a fire station manager (there'd have to be some senior member of staff in there) or something, but I don't think it quite works like that.
I will never understand why LEGO decided to release this.
I have a feeling the chief may have fallen into the river in Lego city.
