Not a bad figures pack. I remember seeing lots of these sets with just some minifigures and accessories. While we do still get City People Packs (e.g Fun in the Park), it would still be cool to have some more of these.

Although, I don’t really see any point in getting rid of CMFs. Oh well.

That white bike only appeared in this set and then the 2011 police station. Also, 2 came in an educational community starter set in 2012, but as the new version with the wheels glued to the tires. The yellow bike is the rarest though, only in one 1998 set.

Such a lovely simple accessory pack with some classic townspeople.

They do look like a chorus line about to happen, don't they?

Great. Perfect set with no superfluous side builds to bump up the costs like the current people packs that cost a fortune.

I thought I had this, but I'm pretty sure my brother and I never had a white bike...so I guess not.

I actually have the 2011 police station! Didn't know the bike was rare though.

I have this one! I got it as a present a number of years ago and I haven’t had the heart to open it. Cute set, seems like the equivalent of the modern city “people packs” they’ve been doing.

By in Netherlands,

Are there also reads about the design team that made the box and promotional art back then? That whole nostalgia feeling goes hand in hand with seeing these kind of box art photos and ads. They did it perfectly. The lightning, the backgrounds, the colours and the composition.

Doctor, Police, Fireman, Emergency Mechanic, Postman and Bike Delivery Person. It's the Lego Covid 19 Key Worker Set!

Although, $5.50 is great for 6 minifigures"

Keep in mind that $5.50 in 1986 is $12.95 now.

I loved these people packs when I was a kid.
I got 6302 and 6309, but not this one.
(But have since bought the white bike as an AFOL!)

Hopefully we still get a boxed City People pack , this year, and not just those 4-figure blister packs.

3 Collectible Minifigs would cost $15 currently, so either way 6 for $12 is a steal of a deal.

Currently with all this free time on my hands, I have been able to delve back into my collection and organize/build/enjoy some of my sets. I have this one in its box with a bright orange Toys'R Us sticker on it for $4.97 - what a bargain! I do not remember how I managed to acquire this set, but it was a follow-up to the previous mini-figure set 6302 which I believe I purchased via Lego Shop at Home as it was called. Once again, you cannot beat classic Town!

This was one of my first few sets. I think I had a generic brick pack, a garage and an ambulance before this, and that'd be it... I was fascinated by all the little details, though it's only last year that I realised the guy in the red top was a postman - we don't use that logo in the UK, so I thought it was a sporty logo on a tracksuit top.

Round about 1992 they did an updated version of this set, with a few different figures, and I got that too.

I actually had this and had totally forgotten that I owned it. I wasn't sure but the white bike is a give away.
