i struggled a bit on a few questions

By in Latvia,

11/20. Not the best result, but a fantastic quiz!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Perfect score!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Heck yeah I got 9!

Most of which were pure guesses.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

7 out of 20

Need to do some more research on my LEGO Star Wars I guess.

I'd love a LEGO CMF trivia though, I'd probably do pretty well in one of them.

By in United States,

10/20. I tried. Really had to guess on some of them, like the clone trooper variant question.

By in United Kingdom,

It turns out that I wasn't a member when the other ones came out, so I'll have a go now. 12/20 despite being a Star Wars screen fan, I am really out of date in the LEGO sets. I was born in the late 2000s, so I couldn’t answer half of them. The advent calendar one was the easiest for me, along with the R2-D2 functions because my brother has a big poster on his wall about it!

By in United Kingdom,

I got 5/20. Move along..

Gravatar
By in United States,

9/20. Got more than I thought I would.

Gravatar
By in United States,

15/20. There were some very hard questions on there. I smacked myself for getting the Phase II armor question wrong.

Oof, 11/20... which is about par for the course with me in these. In fact, that's *better* than I did in SW trivia challenges 2 and 3, so... improvement, yay? xD

I knew a lot of the ones relating to the early years of LSW, as per usual: licenced theme launched the same year, Final Duel II, largest set pre-UCS Falcon... even the years of the UCS starfighter releases, simply because I knew which year the first one came from, which on its own gave me the answer ^^ Most of the others I got were guesses, educated or otherwise - the Clone Trooper armour and the year we got blaster pistols were completely random guesses on my part!

Meanwhile three of the ones I failed at, I did consider the right answer, then second-guessed myself at the last minute. (For anyone curious, they were: the least sets one, the advent calendar one, and the flick-fire missiles one. Also annoyed with myself that I didn't get the 'only Lego representative of their species' one right either xD)

By in United States,

Thirteen out of twenty. Gee, some of those were hard! The question regarding which 1999 ships were remade got me the worst...
Fantastic fun as usual! Thank you guys for the increased content that you have been offering these past few weeks!

By in Ireland,

7/20 trying to think of answers but the force let me down

Gravatar
By in Canada,

In my defense, my score was 4/20.... nice

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oi! 9/20...

Gravatar
By in United States,

6/20! I am disappointed in myself!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ouch, only 11/20 for me. Might be the worst I’ve done on one of these.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Didn't cheat and got 9/20.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Oof, 6/20. In my defence, Star Wars is probably the least prominent major line of sets to me (as far as I know, I only own 1 Star Wars set, and it's a battle pack!). Still, looking forward to hopefully seeing more of these with different themes...

Gravatar
By in United States,

13/20 with no research, not bad!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

8 out 20.. kinda terrible xD
I didn't look anything up, and had to guess a lot of things, only knew a few for certain, though apparently incorrectly in some cases T.T
And I wasn't thinking with the question about villains and their lightsabers *facepalm*

Regards,
Mitch

By in Netherlands,

9/20 but i knew the species question. They're my favorite sw character

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^ you weren’t supposed to give the answers!! Spoiler alert!

Gravatar
By in United States,

ugh it timed out for me.

Gravatar
By in Jordan,

11/20. Not terrible I guess!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I have a question on the 3rd item..... I'm not sure the posted answer is correct. I don't know how to ask my question without creating a spoiler. I think set number 8014 is the correct answer.

Gravatar
By in United States,

11/20. Could have been worse.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

3 out of 20:/ anyone can beat that?:)

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I failed I guess (7/20)

Gravatar
By in United States,

5/20. I probably could have done better if I'd just followed the age-old advice of "choose C"

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

9/20
Was fairly sure about some answers, but by far the most were complete guesses.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

15/20 without looking up the answers. Forgot that Vader's Castle is officially a 2019 set (not 2018 even though it was released in November that year) so I did not select the TIE Advanced.

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

9/20. These are not the droids we're looking for...

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

7/20 : (

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

5/20

The guessing is not strong with this one.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

11/20
Some correct ones were complete shots in the dark... some incorrect ones were too though. ;)

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Loved the quiz! 14/20

This is the quiz we’re looking for...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Two of the questions contradict themselves... the one about the 1999 vehicles, and then the question talking about when the Rebel Alliance vehicles were released. Hmmm.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@drewchadwick_gmail_com:
Nope, the answer is one of the four listed possibilities. You're thinking of the wrong part. If I smuggled one of the correct pieces to you, you might understand why it's the third in a set of three.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Only 7/20. I shall hang my head in shame

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@WillrowHood - No, one of the questions refers to any set while the other refers to Ultimate Collector Series models, as described in each question.

Gravatar
By in France,

17/20 with researches on the site.
I learned a lot, so I think I would not have over 10/20 without it.

No you wouldn't! I tried it and it comes out as 4

Gravatar
By in United States,

11/20. Is that a passing grade...?

Gravatar
By in United States,

12/20. Did better than I figured

Gravatar
By in France,

11/20. A lot of guess work.

Gravatar
By in United States,

17/20 on my first try.
The ones I got wrong were the Winnie the Pooh, the clone armor, and the least sets in a year
Great quiz Brickset,
Thanks.

Loved it! Really tough questions! I thought I knew quite some bits of LSW, but, clearly, "Much to learn, [I] still have.", as Yoda would say. ;-)

I regularly hesitated by some wrong answers, with what happened to be the right ones. Not much guess work for the correct answers.

These quizzes are obviously done from *huge* fans to fans.

My interest in SW comes and lives exclusively through LEGO, so I am glad that this series really is about LSW instead of SW in general. :-)

@Tijgeric:
It's easier to figure out the question to the answer than the answer to the question. Sometimes it's just as easy as picking a set, making up a question about it, and then picking the other answers based on that question (like which was the first of four sets). Some of it clearly takes some knowledge, like the set with the most minifigs, but that might just be some random bit of trivia that someone knows getting turned into a question rather than simply starting out with the question and having to figure out what the actual answer is. If one of the questions was about, say, how many SW sets have pink bricks in them, that would be one heck of a chore to research. But maybe the person creating the trivia questions knows someone who has already done that research and they don't actually have to slog through every set inventory before they can use it as a trivia question. And no, I don't know the answer to that. I'd much rather eat cake than do the research.

By in United Kingdom,

@PurpleDave - Speaking as the person who does write these questions, I try to ensure that they are interesting so typically think of something unusual, distinctive or surprising about a set, or multiple sets, before creating the question around that, as you describe.

I should also mention that I write questions to which I believe I know the answer. Of course, the answers are checked before publication and each quiz is tested by a friend who knows LEGO Star Wars extremely well, hopefully ensuring that the questions are not ambiguous.
