Weirdest Star Wars set I've ever seen to celebrate May 4th.

This was my first Technic set and I still have fragments of it, including the extraordinarily long battery box - just a mere 24 studs in length! Handy.

No Star Wars? :( There’d better be one for Revenge of the Fifth!

Do I own this? I think my Dad might have had it as a kid. I’ve seen the instructions in my collection, so it’s highly likely.

My son still builds 4 stud wide tankers using that battery box. It's a cool piece.

By in Turkey,

I have a couple Technic sets from that era, but I tried to chose the better looking ones. So, no, I don't have this one.

By in Germany,

This one shows what Technic was originally about. Not aesthetic but technical knowledge. Function over form. What LEGO calls Technic nowadays might be (sometimes) impressive and complex sets, but not what us old ones associate with the name/theme.
Unfortunately I don't have this set, but I'd take this over something like a Top Gear Rallye car any time.

Mine doesn’t but it got a big work out back in the 80s. Got this set for my 10th birthday. Still have the bricks and plates. Some of the technic pieces too. Very useful for when my son and I want to build a bridge.
