By in Australia,

I don't consider myself much of a Technic fan (I own, like, four Technic sets in total), but when they release these little ones, they're just so cute and adorable.

^Not, but Techinic is another favorite theme he picks, so not far off, plus its the right age region.

Six bucks? That's super-cheap for a Technic set! Tractors and loaders get a lot of my interest in Technic, as building different implements for them, and getting them to use attachment points already on the vehicle, and run off the "power takeoff" that powers the existing implement is the real challenge.

You know, Technic skid steers are quite rare, despite really being what's common on the jobsite, and on many farms (and in fact, I tried to get my folks to buy a Bobcat when we ended up getting a compact tractor to supplement a 60HP Deere). We've had 3 over the course of 25 years; with 2015's fake Bobcat T-Series being the last.

You can only collect these mini Technics, and still have a sweet collection.

6$ for this cute little Technic set? Seems like a great little impulse set to me!

I might only have one technic set which my dad has as a kid, but this is cute!

I think it's smaller than minifig scale. Like 8441 or 8433.

To my knowledge this seems to be the only “bobcat” vehicle from technic, I’d love to see one that uses pneumatics, maybe even a licence.

As a Technic set the shovel lifts up and down on turning the gear at the back, which is an improvement on the only other city loader set 4667 which shares the same shovel. There is also a rare double pin with snub 47973 to connect the shovel to the technic connectors.

"Need more star wars and lotr random sets of the day..."

lotr isn't allowed until 2023, Hobbit will be for 2022 (but will no doubt be after a rash of Friends sets, knowing Huwbot).
