By in United Kingdom,

I am still awake and noticed it's 2 am. "Isn't that when the new RSOTD appears on Brickset" I think to myself. "I will have a quick look.."

Oh man. I am regretting looking. That fairy !! Arrrgh. Scary.
Well. Guess there will be no sleep for me tonight.
Thanks for that Huwbot.

That chrome teapot is a beauty.

Remember that time Belville was on acid?

Watch in awe of the Great and Powerful Trixie!

Also, it almost looks like there's a minidoll in here about 12 years before minidolls were even a thing with the introduction of Friends, but upon further inspection, it's all just one solid part. How disappointing...

By in United States,

I will admit, since they are a very similar scale to 3 3/4" action figures like GI Joe, Lanard, and Star Wars (and some of the old store brands made by Chap Mei), I do add the occasional Belville doll when I am trying to get over a minimum for a Bricklink order for just a few small, specific, and cheap parts. I do have the doctor and Nurse/EMT figures (with the Star of Life printed on their smocks) on my list, but that's it; mainly because they don't do those realistically in 3 3/4" scale too often. That being said, the figure that comes in this set is a little over-the-top.

The only thing I like about this set--chrome tea kettle and cup.

Bookmum, you’re not the only one getting no sleep tonight. Huwbot must be especially cruel tonight, because Alice didn’t let him play with the new dots ;) Eh, time to curl up in a ball and cry...

Edit: why are those...

...things considered minifigures! They look like pure evil to me!"

Agreed. But they do have 1x2 feet that snap on to studs. But, even worse, Scala dolls are considered minifigs! And those things absolutely terrify me!

By in Australia,

I like the big transparent treasure chest, that's so big you can actually fit minifigs in there ...

... no, that's super-disturbing. Forget I said anything.

Why don’t you see more fireplaces half way up the wall?

By in Croatia,

I'd say this set might actually be worth it for the parts honestly. The chrome tea pot and cup, trans-pink chest, and the cloth element on the doll all seem like really nice parts to get in my opinion.

Huwbot wasn't watching and missed his usual bus stop ... It's the right part of town, but not the right neighborhood.

Are they fighting?

The popular perception is that LEGO did not make toys for girls prior to Friends. Based on the rate they randomly appear on this site, it turns out 90% of the sets they produced were for girls but retailers refused to stock them. I don’t remember seeing any of this junk in stores, ever.

I really want to know how big that transparent hat would be on a normal sized minifig. The size of their entire body, perhaps?

When I drink too much Stella I see fairies too.

The only time I ever saw Belville was close to around the time LEGO discontinued the range; and that was at a Toys R' Us; which we didn't have in my backwater burg. Nearest one for me was an hour-and-a-half away. Neither Walmart nor Kaybee Toys ever carried anything from the range.

I always thought lego was for boys AND girls.
