This is cute. The glowing-green bar along the side is an interesting detail, but looks nice.
I can't get over stickers on cheese slopes, though.
Wow! This was one of my first sets! Definitely remember it looking better than it does now...
Car With Glow Sticks
I’ve got this one. It’s a nice little thing, but the glow-in-the-dark lightsaber rods are definitely the best thing about it.
I got a few of these, the glow-in-the-dark lightsaber blades are neat but they're also probably the bubbliest pieces ever produced
Own it! In fact, it is on the desk where I'm typing this now. Love the glow-in-the-dark parts.
Always wondered why they didn't do more in different colors for light sabers.
I used to own a 300ZX Twin Turbo and found this set disappointing.
Wish I had more glow-in-the-dark parts, though. My kids think they’re pretty neat.
I like some of these racers. This one is a bit on the weaker side for me.
Ah yes, glowstick car
There were so many of these similar sets that they needed the light-saber stick to create a reason to buy, strangely 4516442 only ever appeared as glow in the dark florescent green in this set and 7613, whereas the Star Wars sets just has trans bright green. Maybe whatever caused the florescent was not good for you.
Is that glowy bar supposed to be a speed effect or actual decoration on the car?
The Tiny Turbos were already nice enough on their own, but those glow in the dark parts they added in the 2008 wave made them even better. It gave them something exclusive that no other LEGO sets had.

It's a glow in the dark light sabre blade piece, so the answer is "both, sort of"
This is a really sleek design. The glow in the dark elements, as ground effect lights, are genius. I had one of the larger pullbacks (from a few years prior) with the GID parts, but no Tiny Turbos.

too bad the Lamborghini didn't have these in white..
These were in production right before coming out of my Dark Ages and I bought the very first wave before becoming an AFOL. I loved that they felt like a combination of 2 of my favorite childhood toys (LEGO and Hot Wheels).
The GID wave did give us awesome elements. These sets were also great parts packs once they went on clearance and I'd get a bunch of cheese slopes, awesome rims and tiles.
Tiny Turbos...I miss these and perhaps it is time to make another TT MOC?

There where stickers on cheese slopes in 75871 Ford Mustang GT.

I just saw this set and thought, "ZX as in 300ZX?"
Although you couldn't put a minfig driver in, I still purchased some of these to pimp out my Town cars with new wheels.
