By in Australia,

I didn't used to care for these small-scale vehicles, right? Then Lego released a couple of Batmobiles and a Batwing or two, a few years ago, and every year since, buying these little guys becomes an annual highlight. I love these little vehicles, I think they're adorable.

Nothing is more ominous than the black SUV. Is it a friend or is it a foe?
Or is it just Jerry trying to get the office donuts for today's meeting?

Hmm... a vehicle the same scale as Tiny Turbos. We're still theorizing about how each random set relates to the previous one, right? Right?

I built this one using the instructions from parts (albeit, mine was red/white). Pretty decent little vehicle for the scale and number of parts. For the heck of it, I replaced the 2x2 plate with a Racers hot rod blown motor/blower.

@Zordboy:
The thing is, I like most of the Batcraft they've done, but really none of the Tiny Turbos vehicles. If you make a Batmobile, often you're trying to recreate a specific vehicle. Very few of the Tiny Turbos look like that's the case. I get it, though. I did design one myself. I designed a Dodge Viper RT/10 in the same scale, and it's really tough to make it clear what you're looking at. Batmobiles are a lot easier because they usually have very aggressive styling and an easily recognizable motif.

This set compounds the problem because I don't care for SUVs at all, besides the Hummer H1, and I also don't like the fully studded look. The inclusion of tiles over the windshield and front fenders just confuses the issue.

By in Turkey,

I think it's a good build. I just don't have a place for sets of this scale. Too big to use them like RC cars, too small to fit minifig. Maybe modifying them in micro fighter manner can help.

Dang I didn't know LEGO made an Hummer H1 ... if it weren't for the lack of branding it would have been the same as the Osprey.

That’s pretty serious contamination, I hope you got a refund!

Feels like a stablemate of 30283, which I think is a lovely little model, too. The yellow one is the real off roader. This one is the urban show off version.

@Nordbart:
It’s not really the same situation. First of all, the Osprey has never been sold to any non-military organization, while the H1 was a civilian-only model of the Humvee. Second, the 30283 looks more like the H1. This could be an H2 or H3, but it doesn’t have that distinctive sloped back from the H1.

I use to have a Black Honda Element . . . and I remember wanting this set because it reminded me of it.

I like the black in this set, minimal as it is.
