Well, with only a week left in the year, nobody can say they weren't warned that it's 2020...

And just when I thought this year couldn’t get any worse...

Huwbot’s given us all a Christmas gift

My cat used to leave those for me all the time.

Anyone who does not love Clikits is on the Naughty List, and as punishment, you shall have to face the wrath of other 2000s girl products, like Bratz, Monster High and who knows what else in your stockings this Christmas. Be grateful toward Clikits... for your own sake.

Twas the night before Cliksmas
and all though the house
not a creature was stirring
not even a Star

Huwbot is out of his Bionicle phase and back to clickits

I'm immune to that threat. I haven't had a Christmas stocking since I was a little kid.

By in Australia,

I'm sorry, but I really love this! I love how bright and colourful it is!

Plus, imagine all the Clikits you could store inside!

Yeah, my entire non-existent Clikits collection with room to spare for my equally non-existent Galidor collection :~P

God bless Clikits! May it reign supreme! ;)

It's not a virus, it's just the way Huwbot is.

By in United States,

I’m sorry I forgot to get you a gift huwbot,

but Christmas to you too.

By in United States,

I wish LEGO made parts in the color of that tote. One of my Muricelago MOCs would look awesome in that color.

According to Bricklink, it's Trans-light orange.

I’d love to read a review of this from Huw.

He gave you "normal" LEGO for most of this year, now let him get Clickits for at least one more time before the year ends. Don't stop Huwbot from sharing with us his strange passion for this theme.

By in Turkey,

Well, despite being a Clikits set, I find this one somewhat useful.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Did people in the early 2000s really wear flared jeans like that? I’m afraid I was still in the “school uniform” period so don’t know much about what people could wear when they could actually choose for themselves

I think the figure is from the 1970's flower power, when everything was decorated with flowers. At first I thought she was an early 'friends' character that came with the set to give some sort of link to Lego; but then realized she was just a drawing so will never understand why Lego decided to copy Chinese plastic flower shaped petals and plastic handbags?

By in United Kingdom,

Say what you like about the bag, but those soft vinyl flower shapes are great! I've got loads....

By in United States,

One wonders if Huwbot's Clikits fascination will one day transfer to Dots...

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

And just like that, we are back to Huwbot usual sets.

By in United Kingdom,

One day off - this should have been his Christmas pick!

By in United Kingdom,

IT'S
B A C K

I find myself amused and not very surprised. And hey, it's a nice colour, if nothing else!

Maybe this is Huwbot telling us what he hopes to receive for Christmas tomorrow...

Huw, can you change your name to ClikitBot for April Fool?

Gravatar

Looking at Bricklink, it's a little small--like 10x12x 3. Meaning that, unlike the typical reusable shopping bag, you can't cram a whole lot in it. But it should fit a notebook and phone or something small like that. For a light-duty everyday carry bag, I prefer a drawstring backpack. I can get a lot of stuff in it, and can put it in my regular backpack for travel or camping (in that case, it's usually my laundry bag). Plus, they seem to last longer than reusable shopping bags, and are usually free as well.

I wonder if we'll ever see something like this in Dots?

Though only 373 days until Friends are allowed though.....

By in Germany,

Joking aside, had it not been for RSOTD and Huwbot's apparent love for the theme, I would never have known that there was something called Clikits. And to be honest, I have ordered a few pieces via Bricklink and there are worse things that call themselves LEGO.

By in United Kingdom,

I suspect that calling a product 'Trendy' is one way to ensure that it never is!

By in Canada,

Clickets has some interestingly shaped pieces, and some of those parts come in trans neon green. I should use those in a MOC someday.
