Of course, things started getting a little awkward when Patricia added sausage rolls to her daily inventory

Ah yes, from the SWEENEY TODD themed wave of Fabuland. Things were weird at Lego in those days...

It appears this is more of a baked goods stand than a bakery. Nothing shady about that at all.

What are in these cakes Patricia...?

Piglet, on the day the Winnie the Pooh set is reviewed? We’re on to you Huwbot!

Seems a bit suspicious... what is she hiding?

^ That new Ideas set is so unoriginal. Blatantly copying the characters straight out of Fabuland.

Yum, what’s in the big red flagon Patricia?

I'm not super familiar with Fabuland, but this character I don't remember at all. She's adorable!

Yay Patricia. I have this one. It's always been one of my favourite sets. This plus Catherine Cat's Kitchen made a very busy cafe for my Fabuland town. And the size of them cakes.....yum.

@Your_Future_President:
Heh. This is the pig who gets hired as Miss Piggy's personal assistant, locks her in a broom closet somewhere, and tries to impersonate her.

Also, no frogs in Fabuland. The closest they got was crocodiles.

Not what I found boxed in a thrift store just yesterday (3678) but still quite the coincidence that today's RSOTD is a Fabuland set at all!
We never had a lot of this theme (a couple of small sets, us being all boys there were other things to get first) but my daughter sure loves them so I couldn't pass this up ;-)

I think Lego missed a trick by not going fully alliterative and calling Patricia Piglet’s place a Patisserie

By in Netherlands,

And when you used the Fabuland app you could play snake, tetris and memory

TBH the "cannibalism" jokes fall flat because none of the baked goods ("2" Pretzels and Layer Cakes) seem unlikely to contain meat.

Those yellow plates could be used for OG Blacktron, but otherwise, this set is a bit of hogwash.

Yes, Mr Crocodile moved in next door to the Lamb family, one day. Who mysteriously went missing.

But nobody was sad for too long, because Mr Crocodile invited all his new friends around for a barbecue. The end!

@Norikins :
She sold out of everything else. That's just the stuff nobody wanted to buy.
