By in Canada,

NOW we’re talkin’!
Forget all this Technic nonsense. Clikits are where it’s at!

Anyone else seeing stars at the prospect of Huwbot returning to Clikits?

Ahhh. The calm in the midst of a tumultuous life... thank you lord Huwbot :)

It’s basically therapeutic

By in United States,

22 people own this. I wonder if that’s a new low for RSofD?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

There we go.

They're kind of hypnotic.

I don't know for you, but I have not entered a lot of the sets I owned as a kid in my collection, mostly what I've been consuming as an AFOL. Clickits might have happened when a lot of people were in their dark ages as well, which doesn't help. Now it could be that the set really wasn't popular, but I'm not too surprised to see sets from those end of 90s and early 2000s a tad low on the ownership count.

By in United States,

Seeing a small spread of parts is always really satisfying to me, especially when they're transparent or glittery

By in United States,

It's, um...certainly full of stars. Whatever else you may want to deny about this set, that's one thing you can't.

By in United States,

Too coincidental that we get Clikits after so much Technic. Or is it? Tonight was jinxed by 2 comments last night on Clikits. LOL. I hafta read Huw’s article on the RSOTD’s algorithm.

It’s the future of Dots

That's honestly the funniest thing I've ever read.

My god, it's full of stars...

I know everyone always wants to see things like Classic Space come back, and as much as I’d like to see that happen, I don’t. If there is a theme that really needs to be reintroduced it is Clikits. And I know everyone gets all upset about exclusive releases, but it could be a theme that is only available for sale on Brickset in limited numbers, and Huw can ensure that the website will crash a minute before launch so that only a handful of people on Pitcairn Island are able to get them (say half their population) and Huwbot could be in charge of delivery.

Ahh, Clikits: a star performer indeed.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I think I see a Huwbot constellation in these stars.

By in Croatia,

Not gonna lie, this legit a pretty good set. You get so many useful parts and accessories, and for a pretty small price, too!

I recently bought a sealed Clickts set from 2006, and honestly, I feel like I wanna buy more. This line is better than DOTS, its modern counterpart in my humble opinion.

By in Netherlands,

The original Star Wars set

By in Belgium,

"Long have I waited…" :D

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It is indeed both of those things, unlike yesterday’s super car in which only the last word was really accurate

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I wonder if at this point Huwbot is just making up new Clickits sets just to put them on RSOTD

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Finally back to normality.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I thought this was a Dots set review when I saw the thumbnail, so that’s a pretty good sign right? This by far isn’t one of the worse Clickits sets out there.

Gravatar
By in Latvia,

Good thing we have equivalent nowadays.

I don’t have this Clikits set or any part of it, but it wouldn’t appear on Brickset as a set I owned even if I did. A certain proportion of Bricksetters such as myself don’t record any of their sets. I became an AFOL years before Brickset existed and hadn’t tracked my sets up to that point. It would have been too laborious to have done that retroactively. Besides, a lot of my purchases were - and still are - separate pieces rather than complete sets.

By in United Kingdom,

I'm sure it was just yesterday that someone said Huwbot seemed to no longer like Clikits, in favour of classic technic...

Huwbot's here to prove you wrong xD

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Ah, all is right in the world. It's always heartwarming to see Huwbot reunite with their one true love.

This set has the great distinction of 'not' being 95% 1x1 or smaller sized tiles. I guess that's something at least.

Maybe it's because the 2000s lines were more familiar, but modern lego is getting really weird too.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

What are you meant to do with these if they are not compatible with Lego?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

This is an accessory pack for the main sets which were jewellery and similar. These pieces were decoration for bracelets , picture frames or whatever. The pieces *can* be made to attach to System Lego, in some odd ways. There are articles on New Elementary about it. But mostly it's just Huwbot giving the punters what they love

Gravatar
By in Italy,

I ran out of Clickits jokes.

Gravatar
By in United States,

YUSSS

Gravatar
By in Germany,

First a string of Technic sets and now, after the best of them all, Clikits.
Huwbot knows how to make me happy ;-)
