Guy from Guardians of the Galaxy:
"Who?"

By in United Kingdom,

Back in 2012, I ended up trading a duplicate Breakout Stringer for this guy with one of my friends. I’ve always had an affinity for insectoid designs in general, so Jetbug, Scorpio and Waspix remain my favourite Hero Factory sets.

I danced the Jetbug with a sweet young thing at the high school prom back in '68. That beautiful girl went on to be my wife.

Yeah, there were a few different double-sided head molds in Galtonian era Bionicle and HF, my guess is it was Lego attempting to reduce the number of new molds.

Is this one of those Jersey roaches?

By in Australia,

Not bad, but I definitely loved Waspix and Fangz when they came out, the same year.

I still have this one still sealed! Was never inclined to open it. Maybe someday.

FWI, this guy has a TON of really cool exclusive colors of CCBS bones and shells, just for y'all to know.

By in Germany,

Looks like Bionicle to me.

By in Poland,

That's a strange looking Bionicle.

By in United Kingdom,

He is indeed both a jet and a bug, a more accurate name than some of these RSotDs tend to be.

I wish I knew more about Hero Factory to know what kind of backstory this guy has, because he does look kind cool even if he is clearly a bad guy

By in Latvia,

I was quite a big fan of Hero Factory back in the day but never had I stumbled upon such character as Jetbug. Also, if he's a jetbug, then I was expecting a bug in a jet's form.

I need to get this set! I have Drilldozer but this villain is still really cool.

But I will buy Bulk 4.0 and Voltix first.

Lego bring back bionicle… not the reboot just bionicle :)

Anyone got the Lore™ on this guy? I never got into Hero Factory - honestly, I'd mostly fallen out of even Bionicle by then, so it was kinda just a natural progression at that point - so, unlike the sets from its predecessor, I have no idea what I'm looking at here.

Vaguely reminds me of 8696 Makuta Bitil, though that may just be due to the colours. And the bug resemblance...

It's a jet! It's a bug! It's a jetbug!

The Jetbug head on the back of 2194 Nitroblast is definitely a lot less noticeable than the Nitroblast head on the back of this set.

Ah Jetbug, one of the many yellow flying insectoid constraction figures at the time. Others are 8696 Bitil from 2008 Bionicle and 2231 Waspix of Hero Factory from the same year.

Jetbug was a mining bot on the planet Tallos 5. One day the HERO FACTORY engineers arrived and made the mining bots absorb energy and fuel when mining so that they didn't need to get recharged so often. But that caused the bots to start to absorb too much energy and mall function. The ability to absorb energy caused the bots to get addicted to fuel and Jetbug, Drilldozer, Nitroblast and Fire Lord left the planet to attack more Fueling Stations such as the Tanker Station 22 seen in Ordeal of Fire.

By in Netherlands,

I never really liked those ball shooters, they either shoot out really hard, or just almost drop to the ground, but they look okay in a ccbs setting.

I just didn't like the inclusion of those ball shooters in Nexo, as shooting brick targets with high force doesn't really seem good for the parts.

2020 did introduce a 2 wide Brick spring loaded shooter which imo is more suited for System sets , and the fact LEGO made transparent variant of projectile on a set like 60308: Seaside Police and Fire Mission means they can make some cool other colors.
