I see nothing even resembling an arachnid here. This is some clickbait.
This set was amazing! I'm a big fan of the ferrari sets!
Spider-Car, Spider-Car
It can drive really fast and far
F430 deserves a better treatment with the current pieces and techniques, that set aged badly. It is so ugly, unlike the real car.

Even if it looks really weird, I'd love to have this set on my shelf. This is one of those sets that's almost as old as me and when I see it I think "oh wow LEGO made a 430 once didn't they..."
I must own this set as I have those wheels and a bunch of weird red pieces. Pretty sure none of them are stickered, though.
Unless there's another red Ferrari set with these wheels?
It looks so...boring and un-Ferrari-like.
I have this one back in the family collection. Sadly it relies on stickers at a time when stickers flaked and peeled. So it's a mess these days.
Not sure if it is the same set, but the one I have had a option for whether the car was red or yellow. I built the yellow version and promptly parted out the red pieces elsewhere. Never put the stickers on because of past bad experiences with original republic gunship set.
It looks like Lightning McQueen moved his eyes to the headlight area… or is it just me?
It looks like this has some stickers across multiple pieces. Am I correct?
Wow, even the headrests have stickers. I count at least 10 per side of the car and three up the middle.
Best part of the set for me: those rims.
@Spidermanager:
Nah, those headlights are stickers, just like his. Worse, they’re STAMP, by the looks of it.
I was defending the magic of LEGO stickers until I got one of these early 2000s Ferrari sets (not this one) where the stickers flaked all over.
Pre 95 and more recent stickers are very good though. Weird that they screwed them up for a time.
Speed Champions will be at that scale shortly.

Looks to be that was set 8143 : Ferrari F430 Challenge 1:17 , same car, same scale, different year, but with a roof and 2 colors.
And yes, those headlights are stickers over multiple parts, in both sets.
I've never liked stickers but the car doesn't look that bad.
The STAMPs here are borderline criminal...

Yup, the stickers are real ugly on my pieces, but the 8156 Enzo's stickers look the same. I need to buy some reprinted, better ones...

I don't understand why everyone dislikes the look of this car so much. I personally think it looks pretty good even today, and a lot better than other vehicles of this scale released around this time, which tended to be a lot more blocky.
I would honestly really like to have this set sitting on my shelves. And those wheel rim pieces are sure a beauty.
The headlights look like cartoon eyes. And the curve on the slope, a smiley grin. :)
Is this what Peni Parker drives when SP//DR is in for maintenance?
Back when Lego had us apply a sticker over multiple parts, most sets i have from those years have horrible quality stickers too, sets released before and after 2005-2007 still have perfect stickers after all these years while the ones released in those years practically pealed off over time.
@rab1234:
I have never had any problems with clear stickers. No issues with flaking, and no difficulty achieving clean application. I mean, a modest amount of effort, and clean fingers, are required, but it’s not the Herculean effort so many people moan about.
This is one of several sets I have from around that time that have suffered with the disintegrating stickers that ruin the look of the sets. What annoyed me was how long it took Lego to stop using the useless stickers. Printed is always best if you can't make it look like the real thing or are necessary based on prototype like "USA" on Saturn V.
I really wish I wasn't in my dark ages when these Racers sets came out. They look so awesome! I still want them
This was the last set I received as a "kid" (age 18) from my mom before entering my LEGO dark ages. I still have it and it's a gem in my collection.
