By in Australia,

It is interesting that Jack Stone just kind of folded into a generic 4+ theme that quietly disappeared a couple of years later.

Still, I like it when Lego gets self-referential. You'd think there's room for some Jack Stone cameos in the future.

Small Car yesterday,
Big Motorcycle today.

By in Canada,

Not a bad set, really; has to be rescaled for the larger figure, but it does have chrome.

I just bought 7075 a week ago. Hoping it will come here soon.

Those sails are every bit as good as those in the non-junior sets. The fabric pieces LEGO makes are wonderful.

That helmet is pretty detailed.

Too bad it, like all parts of Jack Stone figures, is permanently attached

By in Croatia,

What's interesting is that the motorcycle hood piece used in this set was actually later re-used in the Exo Force set 7705 Gate Assault as armoring for one of the mechs. This was probably one of the few times when LEGO brought back a specialized piece and made a NPU with it.
I don't get it why the official LEGO sets don't play around with nice part usages as much those days. It feels like they mostly just use the part for what it was intended for once, and then throw it out and never use it again.

If this got in a boxing match with 3177, it’d win by a knock-out. As in it would knock Small Car right out of the ring with the first punch.

Wasn’t the same piece also used as padding on one of those weird buildable hockey figures? I think that, like with the Exo-Force mech, it was shoulder armour there too

@PurpleDave: On the other hand, 3177 would probably win a wrestling match, due to having more wheels and therefore, greater stability. Probably lower center of gravity, too.

Just before christmas, Huwbot teaches us modesty.

@TheOtherMike:
Eh, it’s not like they’d ever be able to box or wrestle each other. Small Car is clearly in a lower weight class.

By in Germany,

So was this kind of the precursor to the modern day City motorcycles that were introduced in 2005? I never thought about that before...

Well, unless this was Punch-Out.

The random set and random piece of the day are combined into one pre-built motorbike.

Ah yes, the donor of the shoulder pads used for Ha-Ya-To's mech in 7705 Gate Assault.

It's also in an 2004 4+ Spider-Man 2 set, 4858 Doc Ocks's Crime Spree.

@Brickalili you must be thinking of part 43558 or part x345. The former has a bulky shape but was Bionicle Toa Nuva chest armour. The latter is Toa Nuva shoulder armour. Both were used in the buildable hockey figures, part 43558 only once on set 3543 Slammer Goalie.
