OK, this is actually pretty cool. Reminds me of a 90s group c car a bit.
I'm counting at least 14 stickers, and that's probably still not even the highest count on a small Racers set like this. Absolute insanity.
Takes me back to my 20s when I was addicted to Tiny Turbos.

14 stickers, 8 exposed studs.

And yet somehow there are still a few clean surfaces left open for more stickers.
I had this! Too many stickers though and most of them haven’t stayed.
Somehow don't remember this, despite growing up in the era and owning a number of Tiny Turbos. I feel like I'd remember such a distinct coloration...
For those wondering about stickers, this set approaches the top ten sets containing the most stickers relative to their size: https://brickset.com/article/57282
However, there are other Tiny Turbos with even more!
That's not a good color scheme, it would look better without any of those stickers. Why is one side of the roof rasied? That doesn't make it very aerodynamic. Is the driver really tall?
I must say, this is a very cool design, as @Speed_champions_fan has said, it reminds me of a Group C race car. Jaguar XJR-12 or Peugeot 905.
@Norikins A lot of race cars that have their engine in the middle of the car have intakes on the roof that lead to the engine's air intakes. This one appears to be asymmetrical.
Hey I have this!
I built it once, then used the space parts to make spaceships. The wheels are most certainly in storage.
Some of the parts are missing side stickers, what a shame... All that space wasted...
That is an absolutely horrifying number of stickers.
@MCLegoboy:
Now run the numbers again, but eliminate any surfaces that are rubber, irregular, compound curves, or the edges of plates/tiles/brackets. What’s left?
Unpopular opinion: I never thought stickers were that big of a deal. Sure they can be annoying to apply sometimes, but if they make the set look better, I think it is more than worth it.
Have you guys even seen how naked those cars look without any stickers applied? I'd say in this particular case, the use of stickers was justified.
Also, I own this one.
It's a sticker sheet with some bonus bricks.
@LegoDavid well the biggest problem I have with stickers is that they're a pain to apply symmetrically and they don't stand the test of time.
Maybe it's the material they made the stickers out of during that period, but my 8662, 8666 and 7695 have their stickers almost completely disintegrated.
I had this! Such a good set!

I partly agree, I think there is a great concern about stickers: they tend to peel off and literally break after 5-10 years. If Lego could finally solve this issue, I would have no problem with stickers at all, but this way the faulty stickers ruin the set a lot. (I own this as well, Tiny Turbos was a great subtheme with great designs even with few pieces :D )
At least it doesn't seem to have any stickers on 1x1 tiles or cheese slopes...
Cool little Group C-racer style of car, even when the number of stickers looks rather excessive. But I feel it would still look pretty decent without them, and that's how it should be.
