Merry Christmas everyone!
You have two different models, and a set of stickers for the chopper alternate, but not additional parts for those stickers. Not that it would look bad with either sticker sheet on either model, but the flames feel more fitting for the chopper model, and if you ever wanted to change the model, you're locked into whatever stickers you apply. Probably way too late to hit up Bricks & Pieces, too.

BrickLink has the green panels for dirt cheap, you could order spares very easily.
It's a dirty, dirty bike.

What do you expect for a bike without a seat?
One of eight?!?
I’m getting old and my years all mixed up, but I thought 2008 was well past the LEGO reboot years.
I guess it took longer to get the Technic side of things up and running?
This is a really cool bike, however I think the version that came out a few years later in 2013, 42007, was superior to this one.

got that set a while back. never liked the technic bikes but my god those grey wheels make incredible ducted fans for aircraft! thinking of that one helicopter from James camrons avatar...
anyways yeah this set is fine, not as good as the 2013 one as the wheels are white, a little less useful. great alternative build though!
*dirt sold separately.
Bit of a slow day. I suppose everyone's still building all their LEGO sets from Christmas, which, I can't blame them. I'd be doing that, too, but I didn't receive any sets this year, so I'm forced to quibble about stickers on a set I don't even own...
