By in United States,

We need finger hinges back, man, why did LEGO ever get rid of them?

By in Australia,

Ah yes, I remember all of these being featured in Star Wars.

May the 4th be with you

By in United States,

Seems like most of the classic Technic sets were red or yellow. It’s nice to see a blue one.

By in Spain,

I learned a lot from this set, although I think I always built the forklift. Years later I found a blue pneumatics tank lying on the street (like 4529226), it made the set a lot more fun!

By in Russian Federation,

I remember studying it in the catalogue, thinking how cool looking it is.

By in Netherlands,

I HAVE THIS ONE! Awesome set.

@PurpleDave:
Do they? Most of my sets are from the 90's, so lots of finger hinges but as far as I know they're all still in good shape.

By in Germany,

Yeah, Huwbot totally chose this out of spite! I totally expected a SW set.
May the 4th, everyone!

By in Germany,

I remember wanting this set just because it had blue Technic parts.

By in Netherlands,

It's nice to see a set this size with 1) pneumatics and 2) so many models to build!

But, my probably unpopular opinion is that those dark blueprint backgrounds do these models a disservice. I know it's supposed to be a blueprint, but it just blots out the model and leaves out context for what the models are.

Especially in this case: the models blend in with the background!

The box looks better already because the models are zoomed in and actually posed

By in United Kingdom,

Looks like a good way to get kids interested in Technic and something different from usual cars and gear boxes. Only downside is there weren't really enough pieces to do anything else apart from those models shown, although if combined with say 8872 you could create something really cool.

By in Netherlands,

Always liked such starter sets! Why care about a B-model if you can have half the alphabet? Okay, just 4 builds here, but still. Just useful pieces and a good base for your own creations.
