There's a formula for fire?!?

"There's a formula for fire?!?"
There actually is.
Fuel + Heat + Oxygen = Fire
You need the correct mixtures, and everything is variable, but that's the formula.
@Murdoch17:
Much like “dehydrated water”, I prefer the fire formula that’s “just add fire”.
And we're off to the races...again...:D
At least they're following a semi-'numerical' pattern...what set has '7'?
Also: "Ma,ma,ma, MASK, is the mighty power that can save the day....":)
No, fire is a chemical process.
His engine is on fire. Is he using a Red Bull Powertrain?
This one has a 6 on it, so it's obviously twice as good as the previous two that had 3
There's no way that alternate build is a regulation racing vehicle
@Mr__Thrawn:
That one’s for racing Death. So far, nobody’s beaten him.
All the town sets of this time had such nice backgrounds, all those open skies and the sunrises.
@PurpleDave: Weeeeell...actually 'Fastback' (of the 'New Gods') beat 'Death'; or at at least the 'Black Racer', which/who is the equivalency of 'Death' for the 'New Gods'...And (of course) The Flash (THE Wally West) outraced Black Flash (equivalency of Death for DC Universe speedsters, or regular Death can't keep up...)...BF was defeated as well (West raced...it? to the end of time, where death would have no meaning or value, and BF dissipated...)...but probably knew those/were refering to something else:)
I’ve never liked this color scheme. Green and yellow just don’t go well together.
CH4 + 2 O2 = CO2 + 2 H20
Something like that.
@brick_r:
Does this look like DC to you? This is Harvey Comics, at best.
Previous racers were better looking, but sadly Lego did make a lot of lame racers.
We still need 3 more numbers for a full set.

There is a "9" in 6568
"Oh, it's beautiful!"
Okay, not really. But I wouldn't turn this down if I got it with my sweets! And as weird as the colors are, at least they are consistent with the others of this line of four sets.
Dragsters look weird anyway, so it's not all because of this set's colors.
@brick_r also, Dean Winchester killed Death with his own scythe. That counts as beating him right?
Ah, after a slight hiccups I see we’re back to Huwbot’s “rad little car” phase, good good!
Lego really liked drag racers in the '90s.
This was a kabala set, right?
Well. Not every one was a winner.
This set needs to set in fire. Ugly!
I feel like the alternate build deserves more of a critique- which bit is the boosters!
@Kynareth:Exactly. If the wheel pieces are the booster, then what's on fire? And if the fire is the boosters, then why does it have those wheels hanging off the sides? That said, it's not a bad model; it's always nice when the alternate models are a completely different kind of thing from the main model.
@TheOtherMike in this set, I prefer the B model over the main one. Another example of Extreme Team.

Are you referencing this Harvey title?

On a different track, this set looks kind of like one of those McDonald's Happy Meal sets.
Seems like he need some warmth on that cold salt flats (Salt Lake City racing test in fall/winter? , just what I think of with that background) :D
@kdu2814:
I was thinking more along the lines of Richie Rich.
Prometheus here MIGHT just outrun Zeus in that car.
