Today's random set is 8494 Ring of Fire, released during 2008. It's one of 25 Racers sets produced that year. It contains 268 pieces, and its retail price was US$29.99/£19.99.
It's owned by 515 Brickset members. If you want to add it to your collection you might find it for sale at BrickLink or eBay.

4x Tahu swords! also a Car! It's alright looking, I'm not really a fan of racers, I don't know at all why, this seems like a pretty cool set. I liked the fold out sets they made, wish we had gotten a more system version of it but oh well.
Most Racers sets were easy to classify as either Technic or System. This one kind of blurs the line.

What are the odds? I literally just finished the Peacock show "The End is Nye" a minute ago, and the final episode was about the ring of fire (as in, the fault lines around the Pacific). And then I hopped onto the internet and saw this. Wow.
Anyways, it's a set I never heard of, but it looks neat.
Looks great, but it's a bit hard to place what actual model it is...

'57, '58' 59' automobile
It's a '60, '61, '62, '63, '64, '65, '66, '67
'68, '69, '70 automobile
...and, if I'm not mistaken, the hand propelling it belongs to a boy named Sue.

Didn't know that, but it doesn't really surprise me. And to be fair, he is one of the few artists that usually made covers better than the original...

Another one of those very few good artists-covering-other-artists is Joe Cocker. He did a few spectacular renditions of Beatles songs in the '70's. My fav is is his version of "She came in through the Bathroom window"

The irony there is that, while the Beatles did cover several songs over their early albums, they’re famous for revolutionizing the music industry by writing most of their discography. Even Sinatra relied on others to write everything for him. Now you’re not considered a serious artist in most music genres unless at least one member of your group has writing credits on most of your work.
