This is a pretty epic coincidence if you consider that the F1 season just ended!

I had 8386 Ferrari F1 Racer 1:10 and boy were those stickers brittle. This was released a couple years later, so hopefully there were some improvements.

Received this set as an unexpected birthday present in 2006 when I was in college and it brought me out of my dark ages. Still one of my favorite sets. Thankfully I never applied the stickers.

Possibly the first Technic set with a V10 engine. Great body shape considering the limited range of panel shapes back then , just wish they had filled in the front wing a bit more.

Can anyone tell what the stickers on their copy of this set look like today?

Back when we only had the Ferrari license when it came to car manufacturers and it was still a part of the Racers theme.
Good times.

We need to have those wheels and tyres re-released somehow; I use these in recreations of vintage F1 cars and they cost a fortune...

The Technic has changed so much in the last 15 years, yet this still looks good.

In a formal way it's not a Technic set but a Racers set. Among those, the 8461 Williams hat a 10 cylinder engine a few years earlier.

I'd rather not: I never got the urge to build mine.

According to my notes the box has a sticker that states "Original Ferrari product" + some sort of {product code} resp. {serial number}

8458 Silver Champion was a few years before the Williams and mostly identical, and that _was_ released as Technic.
8386 was this sets little brother and released 2 years earlier and also had a V10...

Unfortunately I never got this set. I think to this day it's the best Technic/ Racers F1 car.
