Good workout slamming those muscles...
I've never heard of a Muscle Bike. It's not impossible, but i think the more common term would be a Chopper by the looks of the set. Muscle Cars on the other hand, that's an actual thing, so maybe some wires were getting crossed with the naming of the set.
Glow in the dark pieces? Cool!

This was seen in the 2005 sets of this price. Same also happens in the 2008 Tiny Turbo ones as well.
Looks a little Technic to me.
i miss bionicle :(
GitD Bohrok eyes are the second coolest Bohrok eyes. After trans-purple, of course...

Bike-onicle.
It was always interesting, for me, to see Bionicle pieces popping up in other themes. I remember "Alpha Team" tended to use a lot of their pieces.
For once one of those over the top racer names is actually accurate!
It slams muscles.
@Zordboy: Mars Mission used a fair few of them too, I believe. At the very least, I know they used Whenua's drill more than once.
Rebuilt this recently along with 8646! And like that set, it has some pretty interesting parts - the red Toa Metru chestplate behind the bars is unique.
Racers was something else. It didn't care if the set was built out of system, technic or constraction parts. The sets were mostly pocket-money sized by design. The sets depicted all kinds of racing vehicles under the sun regardless of realism. And propulsion was often included in some form. It was so inclusive that it might as well be the closest a theme ever came to world peace.
And this is coming from someone who doesn't care that much about cars trucks or bikes. ;)
Out of the racers bikes I always didn't find this one to be the best looking though. But slammer is always nice to see included.

They also used Toa Mata ('voodoo') Arms as wheel axles/Suspension.
With those swords? Must be Tahu's bike.
Which makes me wonder something. Is this the right size scale for 40581 to ride? I feel like it would be too small for a traditional full-size canister set to make use of it, but since rendition of him is on a smaller scale...

Unfortunately, there is such a thing as "Muscle Bikes". Having been a motorcycle enthusiast/tinkerer what seems like a lifetime ago, I remeber them well. Muscle bikes were basically the same idea as muscle cars: inexpensive motorcycles with the largest engine the manufacturer could install from their available catalog of powerplants. Examples would be the CBR 1000, the KZ 900 and 1000, etc. They became popular in the late seventies and grew into the eighties (among other unfortunate trends). They became more refined in the Nineties eventually giving way to 'superbikes'. However I agree, this model looks more like a chopper to my eyes.

I mean, if you’ve seen many local community parades in the US, there’s a good chance you’ve seen the Shriners driving minibikes, so “right size” allows a fairly wide range of interpretation.

It's even more interesting when you realize how many Alpha Team sets not only reused the parts, but in unique colors. Just look at Mission Deep Freeze, it was absurd.
And people say bionicle parts can only be used to build action figures.
I keep trying to come up with a pun for "Mussel Slammer Bike," but I can't even come up with a shell of a joke.
