Posted by Huwbot,
Today's random set is 3181 Passenger Plane - ANA version, released during 2010. It's one of 37 City sets produced that year. It contains 309 pieces and 3 minifigs.
It's owned by 47 Brickset members. If you want to add it to your collection you might find it for sale at BrickLink or eBay.

Luckily there's only 2 variants of this, unlike the 13 of 4032 Holiday Jet.
As a City collector, this is one set I am pretty sure I will never get.
Huh. I don't think I've ever seen a sticker sheet in the "More Images" tab. Also interesting to note that it had what were apparently alternate torso designs on some of those stickers.
"Hello sir, would you like to buy a plane while on a plane?"
"Why yes, I would like to buy a plane on a plane!"
"Excellent! We have a plane you can buy on a plane and when you pay for this plane on the plane you can build the plane on the plane and then keep the plane when you get off the plane!"
"Please stop saying 'plane' so many times, doesn't even sound like a real word now."
@GBP_Chris:
I've had it with these monkey-plucking planes on a plane!
I really enjoy this set...the only downside about any of the plane sets is the amount of space they take up, but this one really wasn't too bad for that.
Like the plane, hate those jets...they just don't look right to me...
Also (and rephrase):This Set...and today's R.M.O.T.D...COMEDY GOLD!!!:D
And lastly: "The White Zone is for Loading and Unloading only, The Red Zone is for Emergency Vehicles Only..."
Oh man, I wish Lego would remake this set. It's even got a pushback tractor, if a bit ackward looking but those things are rare in Lego sets. Someone ( @PurpleDave ;) ) can probably say if there have been pushback tractors in others sets?
The design is not that bad. I actually think this has a better play value than the larger airplanes. Easy to store, too.
Lovely looking plane and nice set overall (hooray that at least it was still showing some studs!) Yes, the pushback vehicle is nice too. Too bad it was only a limited edition of 1000!!! I wonder if anyone has a photo of it completed with the ANA livery?
Oh hey a plane without the soulless eyes of Timmy staring back at us, nice
I'd probably want to see inside before i completely passed judgement, but i think I like the 6-wide scale on this plane better than the big 8-wide sets. This just comes out looking more brickbuilt.
That is one massive sticker sheet, though.
I really like this one. It's like a more modern take on the design from the 90s with less specialized parts and more genuine brick building. It's also more economical in both the space it takes up and the money you need to spend on it. If I ever were to buy a passenger plane set, it would probably be this one.

Great, I guess every airport set now has to degenerate into Airplane! jokes and avoid serious discussion? Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
Looks like I picked the
@kdu2814: Surely you can't be serious.

Nope. There’s no tag that’s specific to them, and something like “truck” makes no distinction between a pickup, a semi, or this. Identifying which sets include these would require an encyclopedic knowledge of all passenger plane sets, or the willingness to dig through every such set and see what’s included.
Looking at the whole year... what a great year at Lego city! Farm, airplanes, city transport, trucks, tank truck, trains... Golden era at Lego city.

Yeah, I tried looking up the sets using "truck" tag but no go. I was kinda hoping you would be that person with the encylopedic knowledge. Darn. Thanks anyway :)
edit: I checked every set with a tag "airplane", but no pushback tractors/vehicles. Maybe one day we shall have one once again...
@trelic:
Nope, airplane sets were never my thing. Offhand, the only ones I can think of that I own came from a licensed theme I collected, were GWPs, or I just bought the set for parts. I mean, I’ll dig in with some research if my interest gets piqued by a question, but I need somewhere to start narrowing things down.
The 6 wide passenger planes are the ideal width rather than the duplo 8 width or too narrow 4 width. Strangely nose cone only appeared in a few other passenger planes, e.g. VIP service jet 60102, Minions 75547 and Friends VIP jet 41100, with the rest more rescue 4209, cargo 60193 etc., compared to the dozens of helicopters using this nose cone.
@ambr:
See, I want to put Kevin in the cockpit with Stuart, but there’s no way they can both fit unless I backseat one of them, or go to 8-wide. And one of the most accurately scaled planes they’ve ever produced is, ironically, the Amelia Earhart plane, which is less than half a stud from being accurately scaled to a minifig at 6’0”, even though the plane it’s based on is supposed to fit six passengers in addition to the pilot.

I don't think 8 wide is that bad as Wide body aircraft exist but 60262 : Passenger Airplane
made poor use of it's interior , I mean, it's called passenger plane but 1/3 is taken up by cargo, and other 1/3rd is unusable wing section/galley.
But yeah I'd prefer a brick built 4-6 wide airplane over "duplo" looking airplanes.
