LEGO launched two of the 2022 Bricktober sets as VIP rewards towards the end of last year, but two more remain.

Fortunately, it has now been confirmed that the missing 6427893 Fantasy Adventure Ride and 6427896 Space Adventure Ride will be coming soon. One will be launched on the 16th of June and the other on the 11th of July, although their order has not been revealed.

The two previous sets cost 2400 VIP points, so I would expect these to be the same.

Did you collect the earlier Bricktober sets and are you looking forward to these? Let us know in the comments.

By in United States,

I’ve just passed an emergency ordinance that these things can’t come anywhere close to my LEGO City.

By in United States,

I got the 6432431 Pirate Adventure Ride last time this offer was out. I don't have enough points for this excellent looking space ride. Great models.

By in United States,

I got the first two and will get these as well for my new amusement park. I love the Space Adventure Ride! I'm not too fond of Fantasy Adventure, but the completionist in me won't allow that I skip this one. :)

Finally! I got the Pirate one last year and will get the Space one this year! These were the only two I wanted of the series.

AI-upscaled. Even though it's noticeable that it's AI "enhanced" I would ask for this type of images to be marked as AI-upscaled, for clarity's sake.

I got the first few, probably get these ones also.

By in United States,

YES!!! I did get the first two and always wondered wtf happened to the other two. Thanks for the heads up!!!

By in United States,

I actually just asked about these on Sunday, and was told they didn’t have anything showing in the system. I got Castle and Pirate, and have mostly been waiting for Space, but I’ll be completing the quartet regardless.

What's with the AI upscaling? Makes it look like a bad oil painting.

By in United States,

Checked the VIP rewards last night before placing my order hoping to see these. Great to know they are coming and I didn’t somehow miss them. Got the first two. Will get Space as well.

Seems that AI turned the Classic Space Logo the wrong way

By in United Kingdom,

Really good news that the last 2 are finally coming. I was starting to think they'd been forgotten. I have a feeling that the Fantasy one will come first, as the Space one is probably the most wanted.

I have to agree about the image. Looks like it's been accidentally melted around the edges... horrible!

I have to ask the same thing - what's up with this horrible nonsense? I really have an impression that it's some kinda "revenge" for the bad feedback on that other AI article a while ago (https://brickset.com/article/92515/reimagining-lego-sets).

By in United States,

I’m not a big fan of these sets. The scale is all off for them being coin operated rides. The one in 31105 Townhouse Toy Store is much better. Use that one as template and build pirate, castle, etc. rides out of them. Not a great size set for a GWP, but more realistic. Probably better to MOC anyway.

@Librarian1976:
If you consider the minifig to be a small child, like some Homemaker sets depicted, there are certainly coin-op rides that size. If you consider the minifig to be a grown adult…maybe not. But as a quarter of sets, you can just display them on a shelf, maybe with 40335, and build a frame with some cobwebs for the Town ride, and it’s all good.

Same. Must fight harder.... losing... ugh, darn Lego!

Even at maxifig scale these rides would be pretty large - doors in Homemaker sets were 10 bricks tall, which would mean 5 bricks is about 1 meter. These rides are close to 15 bricks / 3 meters tall (including the flagpole of the spaceship), would YOU put your kid in a not-very-safe-looking seat 2 meters above the pavement?

Also, the spaceship just doesn't look very well built, just a random mish-mash of wedge plates and the kid stacked on top. Why isn't the seating IN the ship, like where the unsightly red and blue plates are now?

It's REALLY hard to make out the shape of the ship from the pic, as it's taken straight from the side. If the AI could produce reliable, good-quality views of the model from other angles (like LDD/Stud.io renderings, not oil paint amateur hour) it could actually be useful.

To be clear: my problem with the image is NOT that it has been upscaled using AI, it's that it's been upscaled poorly. I am 100% on-board with the idea of using AI to improve the quality of images for rare/esoteric items on BrickSet, provided that it's actually making the images better, not just larger.

By in United States,

Like many other people, I got the first two, and am more interested in 6427896 than 6427893. If they're going to be 2400 points, then I don't have enough for even one. I'm not enough of a completionist to want to get 6427893, but I'll be annoyed if I miss out on 6427896.

The AI is taking revenge? Skynet will rise! (By the way, thanks for the link. I was trying to find that article a while ago and couldn't.)

By in Netherlands,

Sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree on the Space coin-based ride. It looks rubbish. Those wedge plates don't flow at all and look amateur. And the bottom has flat sides with a random red plate in between.
Just because it's gray blue and tr. Yellow and tr red doesn't mean it's good

By in Australia,

Benny: I could uh....I could build a...I could build a....I could build a spaceship! [he looks around to see if anyone disagrees] You're...you're not...you're not gonna say no?
Good Cop: Build the way, whatever your name is.
[Benny jumps around in excitement as he quickly assembles a spaceship]
Benny: Spaceship! [the team then fly the spaceship through the different realms] Spaceship! Spaceship! Spaceship! Spaceship! Spaceship! [they are then spotted by the robots]
Robot: All units, attack that spaceship. [the robots chase after the spaceship in their aircrafts and start shooting at it]
Benny: Spaceship!
[Benny quickly steers the spaceship away from sight]
Robot: Where did he go? [suddenly the spaceship flies up through the robots aircrafts destroying them]
Benny: Spaceship! [as they fly over Bricksburg]

By in United States,

I've been patiently waiting for these to become available. Like many the Spaceship is the one I wan't most but I'll get the Fantasy one too as long as I have enough points left for it which as of now I do.

Well said; not enough people are realising this.

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

VIP points (and pick a brick) aren't available in Turkey, and that makes me sick.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Isn't that space logo rotated the wrong way? I hope it's not a print cause that'd be awkward.

It IS a print, it's a 2x2 curved slope. Better rotated and a print, than a dumb peeling sticker.

By in United Kingdom,

I also request a label on AI enhanced images and indeed a label for any part of my life that just ‘feels off’.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Back in Nov 2022, I redeemed 2400 VIP points for the Dragon Adventure Ride after seeing what the Asian version of the 2022 Bricktober packaging looked like: gorgeous cubes with individual art for each ride. The VIP points edition arrived in the generic yellow window box packaging, so I opted to buy the entire set in the Asian packaging. Even though it cost a bit more, it was entirely worth it.

Touché! :-D

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I just checked EBay and it looks like the first two have kept their value so I’ll definitely get these.

Gravatar
By in Spain,

I'm happy to have all four from Asia, not only because I got them all last year, but also because packaging is way better than those ones.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

No sign of either of the last 2 rides, 00:45 uk time.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Anything? 00:03 EST here and I see nothing.

Was it June 16th this year or 2024?

Gravatar
By in United States,

@MandaPanda742 The Space Adventure Ride is showing up now. Still available as of 7:20am ET.

Gravatar
By in United States,
