By in New Zealand,

It's a truck bringing supplies to Ukraine

I like those old wheels, especially the duallies. Those are possible using today's parts of course, but something about having a built-in double wheel over a single made it all the more extraordinary for a build.

By in United States,

So the first thing I thought of was this thing driving into the ocean and coming back out on the other side. I guess that's what happens when you live in the United States, you forget that not every country has all they could need within its boarders and would thus require International Transport. My IQ is clearly the same as this set's part count...

This is a condenser truck. You put freight in the front through the side doors, and when it’s unloaded in the back, everything has shrunk to half the size. Or maybe all the boxes break open, and you just need a way to control how fast stuff flows out when you tip the trailer.

@MeisterDad:
I managed to get dualies on Mater. I used wheel 30027b (which conveniently is one of the few wheels that comes in r-brown), tire 30028, and then put that inside a pair of the modern motorcycle tires.

@MCLegoboy:
The people who forged NAFTA would be proud of you…

One of the last classic Legoland mini-wheel sets before they got spoilt with pointless minifigs that could only dream about getting inside them!
Also the most extended use of the articulated lorry base, at 7 studs longer than originally intended!

Got this one boxed with stickers still in perfect condition (even across multiple bricks!)

I liked all those LEGOLAND sets from around that time.

I'm waiting for "JUNIORIZED" comments because it has printed headlights.

Compare this to 6367 from nine years later, it shows how much Lego was evolving during that time.

Excluding the US only variants, this is the only 1975 Legoland set I don't have in my collection.

Colours aren’t too far off Thunderbird 1, are we sure International Transport isn’t a cover for International Rescue?

6367 is a great set and, for its time, enormous. I didn’t realise when it was released that there had been a previous generation of International Transport branding.

I can’t relate to these 1970s vehicles, but that’s probably because I was born the same year as the minifigure was introduced.

By in Netherlands,

I like the implied curving of the blue section of the cab. Very good for implied realism.

That STAMP is an international crime though.

By in United States,

I love these old trucks, they're so charming. If three makes a collection, and the one you can build from 722 counts, I'm almost there...

I was born two years later, so also can't really relate, but I do very much enjoy the VSotW feature, for two main reasons. These old sets have a certain charm in their simplicity (even the ones that used STAMPs), and I'm a history buff, so of course the history of my favorite toy ever is of course fascinating.

if it is, it's not very subtle."

Neither is International Rescue; they fly around in giant rockets that have their names and logo all over them! They don’t even cover their faces when they’re on a mission. Subtlety is not really one of their priorities

Landed on top of Thunderbird 4!

With the colour scheme I can't imagine this set could've been released in the USSR...

The printed headlight piece was ubiquitous in the 70s. We had a bunch of them in our Lego box.
