Sets designed by Mark Stafford

Sets that Resemble Household Utensils and Other Equipment
This compilation of sets is a handy tool for anyone looking to adorn their homes, cottages, kingdoms or desktop backgrounds with what are, without any doubt, superb efforts by the Lego company to make replicas of household utensils through their crafty manufactures.
Magnificently littered with a range of significantly gray Star Wars battleships, cruisers and other 'things,' this list is definitive and a panacea for all Star Wars fans, non-fans and slavish devotees. The recommendations made for the proper utilization of these sets are in no way prescriptive and should be tested thoroughly before being put into practical use. Use this list at your own risk. Enjoy.144 out of 144 people thought this BrickList was helpful.

Sets that Really Should not Have Made it to the Shelves or our Beautiful Homes
This bricklist is the controversial companion to its predecessor and consists of those sets that really should have been thought a bit more about before being released by Lego. Superbly littered with a collection of those painstakingly annoying sets that made you cringe, this list will enlighten you in ways unimaginable. The set with the worst design. The set with the utterly useless baseplate. The set with the ugliest minifigure. The set with the most worthless bricks. The set that will make you vomit. The set that will make you vomit and then eat your own vomit. The set that will make you vomit, eat your own vomit, and then vomit again...I digress, this experience is relative – but the scenarios are endless.
Peer within if you have the gall to do so. Peer within if you want a glimpse of the complete failuredom of Lego. Oh heck, just peer within!
P.S. This goes out as an Easter gift and appreciation to all those wonderful brickset users who favourited my last bricklist. Thanks guys!! I hope you enjoy this one!
NB. Also, this is a wholly creative piece of work and no defamation is intended.131 out of 131 people thought this BrickList was helpful.
Sets designed by Adam Grabowski (aka Misterzumbi)
Following the good example of Mr. Mark Stafford, here is a list of my sets, or sets that were influenced by me. Please read the descriptions for further info.
As a LEGO designer you will get a copy of every set you designed, if project leaders feel that you provided enough ideas, sketches and so on, you will get one too. Kind of a portfolio in 3D
I owe all these sets below although I can't remember buying a LEGO box for myself in the past 6 years or so, so I guess I contributed enough to make them happen.
There is no guarantee for how "complete" this list might be. I built so many sketches and models thru the past years that I can't remember whatsoever, so this is literally based on the boxes I have at home.123 out of 123 people thought this BrickList was helpful.

Weakest Star Wars sets - 1999 to 2009
Which Star Wars sets have disappointed the most over the years ? We all have our own list of the sets we love to hate, and here's my list - one set per year since 1999 when it all began..... And just in case anybody's wondering, I own all these sets, so I speak from personal experience.76 out of 76 people thought this BrickList was helpful.

35 Largest LEGO Sets of All Time
This is the list of the biggest LEGO sets of all time by number of pieces. Last updated in June 2019.
If you had all 35 of these sets, it would add up to 142,096 pieces.
The set 40179 Personalized Mosaic is not included because it is not the same set every time. It has the same number of pieces in every set, but the final product is never consistent.67 out of 67 people thought this BrickList was helpful.
Sets designed by Adrian Florea
After more than 3 years of working for LEGO as a designer I am starting to take more than a few seconds to list the sets I have worked on. A list is needed! Sets designed by Jamie Berard [Unofficial]
Other people have tried to list all of Jamie Berard's sets - what's special about this list? I tracked him down on Facebook to ask him firsthand which sets he did. His response was detailed and precise, but making it readily available (and easy to follow with pictures) on Brickset seemed like a good idea. His comments are in quotes, the sporadic other notes were info I happened to know (let me know if I should add something).
Newer sets have been added (by Brickset staff?) that did not appear on Jamie's original Facebook list, but have been publicly attributed to Jamie elsewhere (such as in official designer videos advertising the sets).64 out of 64 people thought this BrickList was helpful.

Sets designed by Bjarke Lykke Madsen
Hello. My name is Bjarke Lykke Madsen and I am Design Master (Builder). I have worked at LEGO Company as a model designer for 22 years.
I have a background as a Machinist and as a Mechanical Engineer. After my study, I took up my childhood interest in building with LEGO Bricks as a hobby. Later, I applied for the job as LEGO Designer and began 1. August 1997.
Over the years I have worked on more than 25 different themes and designed (or helped designed) more than 100 LEGO sets.
It has been my pleasure to work together with so many wonderful and multi-talented creative people both within model-design, graphic-design and sculpture-design. All of them are great colleagues and many of them I am proud to call my very best friends.
It´s important to emphasize, that making a new LEGO set and bringing it to the marked, is a very complex process that involves the skills, knowledge, experience and enthusiasm from hundreds of LEGO employees in many different departments: Design, Marketing, Building Instruction, Production, Packaging, Distribution and more. The goal is to make each LEGO set the best possible building- and play experience for our customers, and it only becomes possible, because everyone is working together to achieve this.
For this reason, and because I am a very strong believer in fairness, I have credited the colleagues, that I have worked together with on the various sets.
When new LEGO sets (that I have designed) have been released, I will continue to update this list with information that I hope will be interesting to kids, parents, newcomers and longtime fans.
Enjoy & best regards - Bjarke :)49 out of 49 people thought this BrickList was helpful.

How to Make a Functional Hogwarts Castle
This is a list for making a Hogwarts from the Harry Potter theme. It would be rather expensive to follow this list, so it is more for inspirtation. Another thing, I have it set to hold flesh charecters. If you have any suggestion or comments, leave them on my wikia talk page (a link is provided on my profile).

2011 Polybag Sets

Note: Does not include CMF or Duplo sets.39 out of 39 people thought this BrickList was helpful.
Redesigned Star Wars Sets
This is a list of every Star Wars ship that has been re-made as of 2011. It does not include sets with ships that have been re-released, but not changed (7140 X-Wing as 7142 for example). It also does not include ships that have been repackaged with different or more ships, but not redesigned (7146 Tie Fighter repackaged in 10131 Tie Collection or 7166 Imperial Shuttle in 7264 Imperial Inspection). It will not include mini-scale or midi-scale sets, only system/minifigure. Ultimate Collector Series sets are also omitted, UNLESS they are minifigure scale. Sets redesigned for the Clone Wars TV series are inlcuded. If a ship is part of a larger set (the redesigned AT-ST in the Battle of Endor, for example) it will be inlcuded. The purpose of this list is to assess LEGO's redesigns and determine whether they are improvements or not. It also serves as general reference.38 out of 38 people thought this BrickList was helpful.
Creator Sets With Minifigs
From 2011, some creator sets include a minifig and also more variety than just standard houses, including lighthouses, log cabins, tree houses and shops. This turns it into one of the most exciting and collectible lines, with minifigs, multiple instructions and relatively sophisticated builds.
Over the years this has expanded to include various vehicles alongside the buildings, and a subtheme of buildings with matching footpaths that appear to be a cheaper alternative to the expensive Modular Building range. The latest development is a series of 'modular' buildings made up of smaller components that can be interchanged between sets. (while these might offer a new play experience, this writer prefers the older style of more cohesive buildings)
NOTE: Does not include Modular Buildings or other special sets that have been included into the Creator theme, specifically those with only one build.
This list is actively being updated and was last updated Nov 2017. Please email me if I've missed something, or to remind me to maintain the list if there are new sets that match this criteria! Dave37 out of 37 people thought this BrickList was helpful.

Sets by Jamie Berard
I love every set that Lego model designer Jamie Berard has created. Since the other model designers (Mark Stafford, Adam Grabowski) have created their own list, I'm creating this as an homage to Jamie unless or until he creates his own. I make no claims to this being complete. It's based on the best information available to me.33 out of 33 people thought this BrickList was helpful.
