This is the list of the biggest LEGO sets of all time by number of pieces.

Updated January 13th, 2026.

If you had all of these sets, it would add up to 210,666 pieces. (Broke 200K pieces in 2023!)

I try to include upcoming sets, even if they are still leaks. The rumored Minas Tirith around 8K pieces has not been added to the database yet. Same with the rumored 12K piece Architecture set. I will update as soon as information is available!

This list reached a milestone in 2023 - every set in this list is over 4000 pieces! I remember starting this list circa 2017-2018 and only about five or six sets at the time were over 4000, with number 35 reaching as low as the 2700s. Interesting to see how quickly large sets like these have been coming out!

The set 40179 Personalized Mosaic is not included because it is not the same set every time. It has the same number of pieces in every set, but the final product is never consistent. In addition, there are two versions of the set, one with 4,502 pieces, and one with 6,002 pieces which adds to the inconsistency.

Sets that I have worked on as a Designer since 2017 :) Making new sets is a very collaborative process, and there are many people working behind each set! Bjarke said it best, so I'll just copy him:
"It´'s important to emphasize, that making a new LEGO set and bringing it to the market, is a very complex process that involves the skills, knowledge, experience and enthusiasm from hundreds of LEGO employees in many different departments: Design, Marketing, Building Instruction, Production, Packaging, Distribution and more. The goal is to make each LEGO set the best possible building- and play experience for our customers, and it only becomes possible, because everyone is working together to achieve this."

From 2011, some creator sets include a minifig and also more variety than just standard houses, including lighthouses, log cabins, tree houses and shops. This turns it into one of the most exciting and collectible lines, with minifigs, multiple instructions and relatively sophisticated builds.
Over the years this has expanded to include various vehicles alongside the buildings, and a subtheme of buildings with matching footpaths that appear to be a cheaper alternative to the expensive Modular Building range. The latest development is a series of 'modular' buildings made up of smaller components that can be interchanged between sets. (while these might offer a new play experience, this writer prefers the older style of more cohesive buildings)
NOTE: Does not include Modular Buildings or other special sets that have been included into the Creator theme, specifically those with only one build.

This Bricklist was created to show the evolution of the "Destiny's Bounty" sets throughout the Ninjago series up to this point (June 2017).

The title explains all. (So far, UCS's have only been associated with Star Wars, Batman, DC Comics Super Heroes, & Marvel Super Heroes) I'm also including D2C Sets that aren't classified as UCS's so when that happens, I will make sure to put a notification above the notes.

This BrickList lists what i think the 2017 set wave prices will be. This is only on sets that don't already have prices and have official images (excluding ultimate kits, limited edition sets, Duplos, and brick boxes) I will use the pice count (if it has one) to judge what price it will be.
