Sets that Resemble Household Utensils and Other Equipment
This compilation of sets is a handy tool for anyone looking to adorn their homes, cottages, kingdoms or desktop backgrounds with what are, without any doubt, superb efforts by the Lego company to make replicas of household utensils through their crafty manufactures.
Magnificently littered with a range of significantly gray Star Wars battleships, cruisers and other 'things,' this list is definitive and a panacea for all Star Wars fans, non-fans and slavish devotees. The recommendations made for the proper utilization of these sets are in no way prescriptive and should be tested thoroughly before being put into practical use. Use this list at your own risk. Enjoy. All the Modular Houses
Hardly a ground-breaking list, but with the set in the factory category and the latest sets moving to the Creator Expert category it seems worth making.
(And I've included 10230 for the smiles!)
I can't wait to see what 2014 brings. There are rumours of a second set as well as the Parisian Restaurant. Will it be a corner to finish off the square (excluding the odd factory set)? And what building do we need? Would TLG dare do a Police HQ...?LEGO Creator Houses
Just listing all the Creator housesResidential sets
The focus of Town and City sets of the late 1990s up till the present has been on "action" themes. However, a town is a lot more than just police stations and petrol stations. These sets are the houses required to build a real proper (minifig scale) town.
I only noticed how houses have "evolved" as I was developing this list. Please contact me (from my profile) if you think I've left out any sets.Sets designed by Steen Sig Andersen
Partial list of sets that Steen Sig Andersen has worked on.
This information was compiled from the following sources:
1) I received some information via The Lego House contact e-mail. In anticipation of the Grand Old Designer Evening, I asked them what sets I could bring to get signed. They kindly contacted one of the designers attending the event and asked them if he could mark some sets in my spreadsheet of owned sets that he worked on.
2) Astrid Mueller sent out an e-mail listing some additional sets that Steen designed.
3) Some different sets where shown during the Grand Old Designer Evening and were also discussed by Steen.
4) Additional information was received from Astrid Mueller through e-mail with some more sets designed by Steen.
Note: for some sets, it is not known if Steen Sig Andersen was the lead designer or a co-designer.Sets Designed by Niels Milan Pedersen [Unofficial]
A partial list of sets designed by Niels Milan Pedersen. Most of the information come from the Grand Old Designers evening at the LEGO House on October 11, 2019. A list of sets was sent to the participants before the evening. Other info come from interviews in BrickJournal #6 and #8.Creator Sets With Minifigs
From 2011, some creator sets include a minifig and also more variety than just standard houses, including lighthouses, log cabins, tree houses and shops. This turns it into one of the most exciting and collectible lines, with minifigs, multiple instructions and relatively sophisticated builds.
Over the years this has expanded to include various vehicles alongside the buildings, and a subtheme of buildings with matching footpaths that appear to be a cheaper alternative to the expensive Modular Building range. The latest development is a series of 'modular' buildings made up of smaller components that can be interchanged between sets. (while these might offer a new play experience, this writer prefers the older style of more cohesive buildings)
NOTE: Does not include Modular Buildings or other special sets that have been included into the Creator theme, specifically those with only one build.
This list is actively being updated and was last updated Nov 2017. Please email me if I've missed something, or to remind me to maintain the list if there are new sets that match this criteria! DaveLego Creator Houses (2004-Present)

Lego started its line of Modular Buildings in 2007, and has kept them coming since. The buildings all can be connected together to create a very nice and active street.Subthemes with 4 or less sets
Subthemes usually contains 5 sets or more. However, there are some (not so?) memorable subthemes with less than 5 sets. Below is a list (not a comprehensive list) of subthemes with 4 or less sets.

BrickSet and I have different ideas of what a ‘mech’ is in Ninjago. Sure you could just use the tag, but I’ve taken out the ones that aren’t ‘true mechs’. For me, a mech is a vehicle that stands on 2 feet (or a single wheel) that can house one or two minifigs. I hope you enjoy my list!LEGO at the Movies
This is a list that (hopefully) represents every movie-related IP in LEGO. Given the potential for grey areas in such a list, I have put some ground rules/criteria in place: 1) ONE set per IP has been included. Most IPs have entire themes dedicated to the source material (e.g. Jurassic World). In these cases, only one set is chosen to represent the IP. This will be the highest rated set, based on Brickset user reviews; 2) This is also the case for IPs that have multiple films represented in LEGO. For example, the Indiana Jones theme has sets based on each film in the trilogy (yes, there are only three Indiana Jones films o_o), but only one set is selected to represent the theme; 3) The exception to this rule is Star Wars, given what a behemoth of a theme it is. In this list, there is a set representing the original trilogy, prequel trilogy, and The Force Awakens (eventually becoming the 'new' trilogy). This is somewhat arbitrary on my part; if you don't like it, make your own Bricklist :) 4) In some cases, a film IP is represented across multiple themes rather than a single theme (e.g. Ghostbusters is spread across its own general theme, LEGO Ideas, and LEGO Dimensions). However, a single set from the combined themes is selected; 5) For 'umbrella' IPs (e.g. Marvel, DC), a set from each distinct film-based IP is chosen. For example, under the Marvel theme the list includes sets for Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America: Civil War, and so on; 6) In the case of superhero IPs, only film-specific sets are included. For example, Deadpool and X-Men have feature film franchises, but the LEGO sets featuring these characters are based on comic books and cartoons, and therefore not included. This is why, for example, the 2003/2004 Spider-Man theme is included, but the Ultimate Spider-Man subtheme is not. This rule also applies to non-superhero IPs, e.g. Simpsons House is excluded because it's not specific to The Simpsons Movie.Modern Day LEGO Houses
Ever since I was first introduced to LEGO as a kid, I've loved the house sets. After all, all those policemen, firemen, race car drivers, astronauts and, um, volcano explorers need SOMEplace to live, right?! In the '70s and '80s, opening up a new LEGO set and seeing the catalog, with those wonderful all-encompassing displays of LEGO themes with their softly-colored backgrounds was almost as exciting as getting into the set itself. I've created this list for other fans of LEGO houses to enjoy.
If you want to see my notes for each set, you can put the list in "List" view above :)
NOTE: With a few exceptions, this list only includes pre-minifig and then minifig scale homes that were generally available and also marketed specifically as houses. It doesn't include any fantasy / future (Castle, Star Wars, Harry Potter) or DUPLO sets, or sets that were not generally available to the public at retail (such as some educational sets).
I hope you enjoy this list!LEGO Creator Houses: Modern Era
