This list collates all ships released by Lego, in chronological order, since the beginning of the Pirates line. It includes POTC but it excludes re-releases, mini-versions and any ships that are not to minifig scale (Duplo, juniorised era releases.. etc).

This bricklist is the controversial companion to its predecessor and consists of those sets that really should have been thought a bit more about before being released by Lego. Superbly littered with a collection of those painstakingly annoying sets that made you cringe, this list will enlighten you in ways unimaginable. The set with the worst design. The set with the utterly useless baseplate. The set with the ugliest minifigure. The set with the most worthless bricks. The set that will make you vomit. The set that will make you vomit and then eat your own vomit. The set that will make you vomit, eat your own vomit, and then vomit again...I digress, this experience is relative – but the scenarios are endless.

This Bricklist will cover the evolution and many variations of the classical LEGO Minifigure. Now this will not fit in the captions so here is the origin:

Back then, LEGO only made play sets without the minifigures. When the play sets were losing popularity and kids didn't buy them LEGO did not know what was wrong. Until in 1978, a brave worker, Jens Nygaard made a little man (after 50 prototypes) and there began the minifigure.

The focus of Town and City sets of the late 1990s up till the present has been on "action" themes. However, a town is a lot more than just police stations and petrol stations. These sets are the houses required to build a real proper (minifig scale) town.

I only noticed how houses have "evolved" as I was developing this list. Please contact me (from my profile) if you think I've left out any sets.

From 2011, some creator sets include a minifig and also more variety than just standard houses, including lighthouses, log cabins, tree houses and shops. This turns it into one of the most exciting and collectible lines, with minifigs, multiple instructions and relatively sophisticated builds.
Over the years this has expanded to include various vehicles alongside the buildings, and a subtheme of buildings with matching footpaths that appear to be a cheaper alternative to the expensive Modular Building range. The latest development is a series of 'modular' buildings made up of smaller components that can be interchanged between sets. (while these might offer a new play experience, this writer prefers the older style of more cohesive buildings)
NOTE: Does not include Modular Buildings or other special sets that have been included into the Creator theme, specifically those with only one build.

This is a list of every Star Wars ship that has been re-made as of 2011. It does not include sets with ships that have been re-released, but not changed (7140 X-Wing as 7142 for example). It also does not include ships that have been repackaged with different or more ships, but not redesigned (7146 Tie Fighter repackaged in 10131 Tie Collection or 7166 Imperial Shuttle in 7264 Imperial Inspection). It will not include mini-scale or midi-scale sets, only system/minifigure. Ultimate Collector Series sets are also omitted, UNLESS they are minifigure scale. Sets redesigned for the Clone Wars TV series are inlcuded. If a ship is part of a larger set (the redesigned AT-ST in the Battle of Endor, for example) it will be inlcuded. The purpose of this list is to assess LEGO's redesigns and determine whether they are improvements or not. It also serves as general reference.

Most of the sets listed are sets that I built sketch models for, many of them were completed by another designer, so why are they on my list? I've often work in the role of "Idea Guy" or Concept Designer where I bridged the gap between wild ideas and realistic execution.

Back in 2011, while working as a Master Model Builder for the LEGOLAND Parks, I pitched a LEGO Batman expansion area. It never worked out for a variety of licensing/timing/business reasons, but during my research, I rediscovered my love of Batman The Animated Series and the sprawling architecture of the neo futuristic 'Dark Deco' distopian city of Gotham. Inspiration lead me to build my own Gotham City at home, but progress paused when I moved to Denmark. The idea for Gotham as a set was in the back of my head for over a decade! My old Flickr page has an image of the Gotham City I was building at home, along with the caption "Gotham WIP. Coming soon." Admittedly, 12+ years stretches the definition of "soon" but we got there eventually.

-Besides Batman and Gray Ghost, there are 30 characters hidden throughout the set, 3 of which are represented using only bricks. Major kudos to anyone who can identify all 30!
-The instructions include an episode to pair with each of the 44 number bags. The episode names in the instructions correlate with the reference material for the part of the model built in that numbered bag- In other words, you can see what you're building on screen while you build it! So if you want to watch again (of course right?!) you can check out how close I kept the design to the source material.
-Despite the clouds all angling from top left to bottom right, the number of Left elements and Right elements are balanced evenly.

There are a few which you'd be better off buying as sets, such as larger animals like Shelob and Deep Sea Predators, or those with rarer pieces (like the green hinge on the frogs legs).
The criteria I've used are:
- Brick-built rather than moulded.
- Realistic, rather than pilotted by minifigs, or generally made-up (although I couldn't resist including the disabled grasshopper!).

Here is a guide to the various minifig magnet sets, showing which ones are not glued to the base and which ones are glued to the base.

Since I like collecting minifigs, I was thinking it might be helpful to start a Bricklist of the minifig magnet sets and have them listed by those that have removeable minifigs and those that have glued minifigs. The reason this idea came up was I had set #852948-1 (Female Minifigure Magnet Set) still on card and I was thinking about getting rid of it (I had no use for the minifigs if they were glued to their magnetic bases). Once I found out the minifigs could be removed, I changed my mind and decided to keep this set.

Since then I've thought about getting other magnet sets, but I found it difficult to find out exactly which ones are glued and which ones aren't. I thought a Bricklist would not only help me, but other minifig collectors as well.

Thanks to Farmer_John and akunthita I learned a little something about these magnet sets. Basically anything before 2011 is not glued, while anything after is glued. There is apparently some overlap with some sets that were sold both ways. When in doubt, the later sets state on the backside that the minifigs are not detachable.

All the SW Battle Packs. These sets are the main reason that I got into collecting LEGO, and I thought it would be proper make a Bricklist about them. By the way, all Battle Packs are in pairs, and two are released every year. 'Battle Pack' comes from the fact that you can battle with them, and that you can build an army with them. So, the SW minifig packs and Final Battle I/II would not be included. In order of release. It'll be updated when needed.

This list features every figure in the Collectable Minifigures theme that still has some totally exclusive element(s). It can be anything: the head, headgear element, accessory or even a fabric piece such as a cape with a unique cut. If there are no other sets or minifigures where the piece in question appears (even just in the same series), the figure will be on this list. Note: exclusive recolors made for Build-A-Minifigure don't count as reappearances in other sets. The exclusive piece is mentioned along with the figure. No exclusive piece colors or exclusive prints, just molds.

A VERY partial list of sets designed by Jens Nygaard Knudsen, the creator of Classic Space (and the minifig!). The data come mainly from an interview with him and Niels Milan Pedersen on BrickJournal #6, by Mark Stafford, with some details coming from an interview with Daniel August Krenz e Niels Milan Pedersen on BrickJournal #8, by Megan Rothrock. In addition to the sets in this list (which includes the first complete wave of Space sets) he also designed many (most?) of the Space sets until M-Tron and many Basic and Town sets (before the minifig).

The oil company Shell and Lego goes back a long way. There were Shell sets even before there was minifigs. The first sets were 325 and 491 (neither of which are available in this database). A Shell "subtheme" was launched with the minifigs in 1978. Even after "Octan" was introduced in the 1990s as the oil brand in Lego, Shell continued to produce special Lego sets, some of them with Shell's logo.

Shell and Lego signed an agreement in 1996/97 to cross promote the other's product and although this lasted until 1999, a large number of sets were made. Shell and Lego's cooperation continues at present with the Ferrari license.

Sets with exclusive minifigs....

Cars for minifigs built to an 8 stud width standard. This width allows 2 minifigs to sit side-by-side without resorting to one of the special Adventurers/Indiana Jones vehicle seat pieces.

To qualify, the vehicle doesn't necessarily need to be exactly 8 studs wide or seat 2 minifigs side-by-side. The vehicle's scale simply needs to match the 8 stud width standard. Semi trucks, for example, should be 10-12 studs wide to fit the scale, since they're wider than conventional cars.

This comprehensive list includes a number of the best Lego Star Wars sets from the past decade, determined by their minifigures, movie accuracy, design, functionality, attention to detail, and overall appearance (I have not included price-to-piece ratio as one my main criteria because I think that an avid collector should probably be able spare the extra money to complete his/her collection). I have created this list to organize some of my favorite Lego Star Wars set and help Lego Star Wars fans to create, add to, or complete their displays.

Before there were "Impulse" sets, there were these small sets in Lego Space. Each set featured a minifig with a small vehicle (usually). The set numbering started at 6801 and increased numerically (more or less) in the subsequent years. Note, promo mini-sets are not listed here.

Since Lego hasn't given us a Luke Skywalker (Endor) minifigs since 1999, I've decided to put together a BrickList to direct you in making a new one until Lego does.

I am quite surprised that no one so far has made this list!

Here are all the sets with the pre minifig minifigs. They only lasted from 1975 to 1977. The figs already have a yellow head but no face. And no moving arms or legs, just a slightly glimpse of arms and feet.

Men got on their head a cap or cowboy hat, women got the famous pigtail. A 1x2 plate becomes a belt or a neckerchief for cowboys. So, 4 parts with up to two additional parts made a minifig in those days. In 1980 there was a cameo of this sort of minifig, find out in which set that was!

I think there might be a few similar lists like this, but I've never seen one that's 100% complete, so I'm going to attempt it, regardless of how long it takes. By the way, as a general rule for what I mean by animal minifigure, I mean an animal made mostly or completely out of unique parts. This also means that some monsters and aliens that are almost a normal minifigure (like Greedo and the Atlantis shark-man, for instance) did not make it on, along with some that are normal minifigures with a specialized headpiece (such as the new CM Minotaur or the old HP Werewolf). Note that I will most definitely not try to include every color of every animal. :P

Luckily, The clever designers at The LEGO Group have managed to sneak in the odd reference to Classic Space more and more in the first quarter of the 21st century. When I got set 7150 Y-wing and Vader's Tie for my 8th birthday back in 1999, the Darth Vader figure instantly became my favorite and most guarded minifigure. It was so cool to have the dark lord of the Sith in LEGO form! Kids these days have many ways to get hold of a Darth Vader fig. In fact, he is now one of the most common minifigures. You should have 30 German Soldiers, 8 Pilots, 8 Bikers, 2 Russian Soldiers, 1 Mechanic, and 1 Colonel Dovchenko.
You can have the Soldiers in 2 4x4 troops, with the 2 Russians. The Pilots and Bikers, in one 4x4 group. Give the Russians the machine guns from Ambush in Cairo. Replace Dovchenko's head with Indy's. He's a general, colonel, some high ranking military official. Or some German ranks, oberst, allgemein, or kommandant.

After reading something online I realized you could catergorize the minifigures into themes. So I started off with a really neat one- WILD WEST!

Oh yeah, and this is my first list, so it might not be the best.

After thinking of Luigi's Mansion and Plants Vs Zombies, I thought of a Lego game that is pretty close to those games and thought of this!

This list includes set with minifigures which are compatible with non CLONE WARS styled minifigures. I used only characters/objects which are considered minifigures by bricklink. Minifigures who have large eyes that are covered up by helmets (f.e. most clones and mandalorians) are not included. No matter how many appearences a minifigure has he/she/it will only be listed once unless there is a/are any variations.

With these 2 sets and some Collectable Minifigured you're able to make two brilliant gladiator arenas (one provincial and one roman) with gladiators fighting.

These do not include Creator Expert sets.

This is a list of every set that has had one or many of the LEGO Nanofigures, also known as Statuettes.

First appearing in LEGO Minifigures series 2 with the Karate Master this small piece has become a great way of populating micro mocs. Since then there has been many different colours of this piece and even some printed ones.

This is a list of every set that has the new LEGO Baby fig included.

This only includes the babies made of a new two piece design including a head smaller than the average LEGO Minifigure head piece and small body piece.

First released in 2016 with the LEGO City Fun at the Park set this new figure type has now been in over 22 sets, the most common design being the White Gown, basic smiley face one which is in 8 sets. With different head variants including one for the Child from Star Wars as well as a astronaut helmet and tanks for a space baby!

BrickSet and I have different ideas of what a ‘mech’ is in Ninjago. Sure you could just use the tag, but I’ve taken out the ones that aren’t ‘true mechs’. For me, a mech is a vehicle that stands on 2 feet (or a single wheel) that can house one or two minifigs. I hope you enjoy my list!

This is a list of all the minifigures throughout the cmf series that are related to the Chrinicles of Narnia book series by C. S. Lewis. I have created this list so every one can see that lego has made some small tests with Narnia like characters and most of these are loved by cmf collectors and many others. Those who have only seen the Disney movies of three of the books may not recognize a few of the minifigures as Narnia related, though. I accidentally deleted the Battle Dwarf minifigure from the list but this minifig could either be a random red dwarf or Trumpkin in Prince Caspian. Lego has a Disney partnership so why don't they make some Narnia sets!?

Within Leisure and Paradisa, a subthemes of town, the first windsurf Lego sets were introduced in 1992. Also parts of the cool but rare windsurf equipment is used in sets; surf sails for sailboats and after the end of Paradisa windsurf boards for wave riding. Recent the little surfboards for wave riding are released in the Collectable Minifigures and Creator sets. There are lots of minifigures in the CMF line with exclusive 2x2 tiles. Here's a list of them! I've also mentioned the meaning/purpose of the tile with the particular figure.

All Tie/Tie like ships that are up to minifig scale in non UCS sets. Accompanied with my scatterbrain thoughts on them throughout enjoy. I have successfully completed this. I did not buy duplicates IE the rereleases that are basically the same. I did buy both versions of the older Tie Fighters though. For some of the more expensive sets I bought the ship only cause that's what I wanted and I'm cheapish.

This list includes all mandalorians that are available from minifig scale sets. It does not include special polybag, book, or minifighter set mandalorians. I put this together to see what it takes to get all the mandalorian lego minis by name (ie only need one Djinn/Boba) and I only need Super Commando and Sabine. Hope this helps anyone trying to do the same!
