60097 wasn't what I imagined, it's a bit more modern than I was hoping. A classic SF-style streetcar would have fitted with the Detective's Office nicely.
Not expecting to see these today. The Ninjago sets look amazing, especially the dragons, and nice to see some trans-neon green chains on them as well as a surge in the use of Spring Yellowish Green.
It's interesting that Chima had a ton of Fire vs Ice sets yet it seems like we are sadly getting two years of NinjaGo in one year. I really wish we would get more snake sets. Of course being in the USA we don't have them yet.
The Minecraft pictures look excellent! Too bad there doesn't seem to be a Ghast in the Nether Fortress set... or maybe it just isn't shown along with the other minifigs/mobs because it's much bigger than them?
That ronin REX is tempting indeed. But oh man , those mixels are freakin aweSome. I can't wait for those , I'll probably get quite a lot of them. Can't wait to see other sets that I actually care about more , IE Star Wars and that set with deathstroke... Although it won't be until February until we get the really good pics.
I'm not a huge ninjago fan, but those look great! I might have to pick some of those up, along with the mixels. I hope we get some bionicle pictures soon...
Loving the look of Creator Changing Seasons, it looks bigger than I'd imagined! Minecraft looks great too! Can't wait to see more images over the coming days, especially excited to see what the rest of the Scooby Doo sets look like!
WOW! I've got into Ninjago recently and the recent wave of sets are great. However, this summer wave looks incredible. I really hope that the large dragon is glow-in-the-dark. It looks like there are a lot of new elements that may be glow in the dark (including the wings!). What do other people think? This would just take it to another level!
You didn't mention Alex (the red-haired female) on the Minecraft circle of figs.
I'm really excited that Spring Green is becoming a mainstream color, with the Ninjago antagonists and Scooby-Doo zombie. That dragon isn't glow-in-the-dark, by the way, @Msanders. Just a whole lotta new Spring Green pieces (I expect New Elementary will have a field day)!
A construction site Mixel?! I am SO buying that. Any guesses as to which purple one is the infamous Vaka-Waka?
Those Creator sets look tremendously boring. I'll probably just get some of the cheap winter ones.
Wow, that tram looks fabulous! Brilliant usage of the Speed Champions windshield. The little shuttle is a piece of juniorised junk and confirms my suspicions that they would be worse than the 2011 line.
Minecraft looks even more boring than The End, which was a bunch of tan 1x1s!
Pop Star... just... no.
Elves Fortress and Ninjago sets: Jeez, those sets look like hot messes from those pictures. Particularly the Ronan REX: Ronin looks like he employed an eyeless salamander for a fashion consultant!
The new Friends line is really cliche, I mean they went from Jungle Rescue to Rich Pop Star, and the set is quite terrible. Part of me hopes girls won't like it...
Those Ninjago ones look pretty sweet, never really a huge fan of the series but will probably have to pick up 2-3 of them...and the tram looks pretty cool as well
Im so exited about Mixels! And, I saw pics of the Deep Sea Sets from Toy Fair on Brickfan.com! And town square. Not what I expected. A bit smaller thain I thought, not very inpressive.
The Elves and Ninjago sets look gorgeous! I love that the Elves castle has a section for each element. Mixels are amusing as always, but I don't think I'll be collecting those. Looking forward to seeing some pics of the summer BIONICLE sets!
I personal really like that dungeon set. And that blaze figure is stinking awesome! I'm really looking forward to city; space subtheme. But minecraft looks awesome in the photos.
Interesting to see not many people commenting on City diving sub theme - the original was good but this looks even more extensive, albeit without the nostalgia and stickered rocks. What happened to just general leisure boats though Lego? The transporter in the January wave is a good start. I'll be interested to see more of that diving theme, and obviously images of the non-FA SW sets (because FA ones will be under a shroud of secrecy for longer)
I keep wondering why all the secrecy at the London Toy Fair, only to see pics the very next week at Nuremburg.
I'm excited about the tram and Lego store in the city square set.
I kind of like the space theme. Even though it's a little juinor-ized the clean look of the shuttles works for this kind of vehicle. I just wish they made an actual space station set, maybe on the level of the large arctic base camp with maybe a small satellite and small one man escape pod or small utility shuttle for moving things around in space.
On the Flicker photostream I saw in the background the bottom of the large Ultra Agents set what looks like a large great white shark.
The Ultra Agents shark is a metallic robot shark (belonging to AntiMatter) with purple eyes and circuitry on its head. Pictures of it popped up on Taobao a couple of months ago.
The Friends Hotel looks really nice, and expensive and seems to have some cool new pieces over the windows on the first floor. But boy we go from Jungle adventure to hanging out with our new best friend, a pop star.
So, more liscensed sets tomorrow? Really looking forward o superheroes sets, and the preliminary for the SW Death Star duel looks great. Can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring!
A GIANT ROBOT MAELSTROM SHARK? I know what I'm buying ASAP when it comes out. Looks like Jurassic World is getting the axe though, unfortunately. Thank god the next SW wave isn't until close to Christmas, that'll give me the room to get a GIANT ROBOTIC MAELSTROM SHARK (with LAZERS too, most likely.) Somebody give me a link to this specific pic so I can stare at backgrounds for entirely too long.
Mixels still look like they belong in a McDonalds happy meal, not a Lego set.
I have no idea what happened to NinjaGo. Life is too short to watch the cartoon.
Personally I think Technic and Creator are the highlights here, although it's interesting to see that City went back to the underwater explorers sets. Well, thankfully Agents didn't go underwater... yet again....
The new Friends posted in thebrickfan looks superawesome! It's like something Friends and Paradisa FOLs have been desiring for.
And it looks like that the next wave of Friends would featue a pop star character using Ariel's hairpiece (though not sure if she would be a recurring " Friend" in later stories like Lloyd's addition to Ninjago).
I'm not too sure about the direction of Ninjago. Obviously LEGO is going more stronger, but I kinda worry that they would miss the direction. But the new ship might be in my shopping list.
The improvements of Creator small houses have been smaller these years, I wonder. Just have to see if it's alternative buildings are "seasonal" enough.
Disappointed with the Creator house. Love the Space theme, finally my Shuttle, I can't afford the huge one so this little one is awesome. Technic: Loved the two huge sets yesterday, today I'm not sure any more. No buy, I guess.
Town Square seems like a must buy as well. Good decoration for the recent Creator modular like houses I guess. At least the tram and the other small buildings.
Can the Blaze spin? I feel like Ninjago has taken a turn for the worse over the past few years, so I'm not buying these ones! They're just recreating the same sets pretty much, just with robots!
It's quite funny/unfair how she doesn't get the luxury of any armor while Steve sports both sorts of armor in those sets, at least she's granted a diamond sword while duking it out with a Zombie Pigman XD

I like the construction-themed Mixels and can't wait to see the rest of them.

set 60097 is on my wish-list
I'm liking the look of that Technic crane!
Can't wait to see the rest of 60097!!!
Loving the tram.

I better start saving :-)
Niederthai 11... Ditto!!

That tram from 60097 looks amazing.
Surprising to me is that the sets which most interest me are the Ninjago ones. I really like some of the new elements/colors I see.
The Minecraft pictures look excellent! Too bad there doesn't seem to be a Ghast in the Nether Fortress set... or maybe it just isn't shown along with the other minifigs/mobs because it's much bigger than them?
I really want to see pictures of the Jurassic world stuff.
The Minecraft Images make me feel happy
The technic crane 42042 looks great, I need to see some pics of 42043 though!!!
60097 looks cool too, cannot wait to see the rest of it.

The changing seasons seems to me like a concept originally coming from Lego IDEAS:
https://ideas.lego.com/projects/20153
...and it is not for the first time I see some similar concepts from the Lego Ideas being used.
e.g. Jedi defender
https://ideas.lego.com/projects/11084

Those Mixels are incredible!! Loving the Ninjago too, but I can't commit to the series any more
Very excited to see that the baby shuttle in the Space sets is actually one of the old Shuttle replacement ideas! That new nose cone looks great!
The creator blue jet looks like a great F-22/F-23 inspired plane. All that dark blue!
@ ChicoCheco
I agree. And Ideas version was much better. I'm rather disappointed by the part of Changing Seasons we saw by now.
@Paragon132
Leaked images of the Bionicle sets can be found here: [link to confidential images removed]
IMO those ninjago sets look like some of the best so far and the mixels look good to, cant wait for better pictures

Biggest surprise? The Louvre. I don't usually buy Architecture sets (own only 1) but that is beautiful.
okay I dislike saying this but I actually like the 70736 Attack of the Morro Dragon: set
Those Ninjago ones look pretty sweet, never really a huge fan of the series but will probably have to pick up 2-3 of them...and the tram looks pretty cool as well
That Minecraft wolf looks a little weird to me.
So far so good, can't wait to see Deep Sea Explorer and to check if the Dilophosaurus has a frill that we can remove and put back in.
Im so exited about Mixels! And, I saw pics of the Deep Sea Sets from Toy Fair on Brickfan.com! And town square. Not what I expected. A bit smaller thain I thought, not very inpressive.

At least the Friends pop star has a yellow ball joint! Sounds good for BIONICLE MOCs!
Ninjago ghost dragon actually looks really cool! I was a bit put off by the prelims, but my is it gorgeous in real life.
Space sets look awful, as always.

I love that crawler crane and blue jet. Definite buys!

Where are pictures of the Friends Grand Hotel?
Just saw BIONICLE pucs! THEYRE AWESOME! And I saw the Grand Hotel and Pop Star Tour Bus
^
^. Where are the Pics of prelimanary Death Star Duel?!?!?!
A GIANT ROBOT MAELSTROM SHARK? I know what I'm buying ASAP when it comes out. Looks like Jurassic World is getting the axe though, unfortunately.

M4444, I saw it on thebrickfan.com. It's a very nice looking hotel.
I look forward to the backlash on that Pop Star theme. Those silhouettes remind me of the Mudflap Girl.
Mixels still look like they belong in a McDonalds happy meal, not a Lego set.
I have no idea what happened to NinjaGo. Life is too short to watch the cartoon.

Town Square.... isn't square.
Nice tram.
the Louvre at last...

There is Alex minifigure in LEGO minecraft, where will she be included?
Can the Blaze spin? I feel like Ninjago has taken a turn for the worse over the past few years, so I'm not buying these ones! They're just recreating the same sets pretty much, just with robots!
Robots? Where?
@darth2701: She'll be included in two sets (21121 and 21122), as evidenced by this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGUQMA53bXU (4:30)
It's quite funny/unfair how she doesn't get the luxury of any armor while Steve sports both sorts of armor in those sets, at least she's granted a diamond sword while duking it out with a Zombie Pigman XD
@matau2004, I meant the Nindroids, or whatever they're called :P
The Nindroids are not in the new sets.
Ohhh Okay, sorry!
I'm really happy to see The Louvre. It looks stunning. The Architecture range is too American-centric so more European/world sets are very welcome.
