Ken, you're not a Lego minifigure.

Gravatar

I can't believe that Huwbot would put that image on the home page uncencored!

The lifejacket he wears wouldn't help much.

How long until we get 'My Dad'

That's 125 too many of these in existence.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I don't know if this would be creepier with the figure actually wearing clothes, or not.

Gravatar

I’m calling the cops

Gravatar

Is he related to My Dad?

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

I'm reporting huw to the lego city police for putting this up un-censored in front of kids!

Ah, so four people have denied it since @haldir counted 125! Understandable

If you put this in the same room as My Dad, I will call the cops.

Gravatar

In Europe it's called "My Illegitimate Half Brother"

Gravatar
By in United States,

Interesting, I take photos of my used sets to post for sale using the same technique of a grey plate floor and one upright.

Not that I would ever think to photograph this.

Gravatar

And people debate whether or not Classic Space droids are minifigures!

To quote the wise sages of kingdoms now long lost to time:

"You are entitled to your opinion. Even when it's wrong."

I shall alert the Grand Archives, so that they may add a record of it to their Hall of Evidence That Opinions Can Be Wrong.

I know what you're thinking, and yes, the Archive did need more than one plaque to display the Hall's full name.

I’m not sure he’s even really 17!

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

TLG wanted to call it My Boy, after My Dad, but they realized it would be a really bad name.

Yeah, they also considering releasing My Girl, but then realized it wasn't worth the temptations...

Gravatar

I guess Belville doesn't offer sunscreen? This male looks rather crispy.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Nick Bluetooth, 'bout age 7...no:)

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

Oh boy! Considering the age we live in, this looks highly inappropriate.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

A CMF series of figures like this would certainly stop people ripping the boxes open.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Oh God no!!
My eyes!!!
Hideous……

Does not exist, because ABS doesn’t melt. It has a glass-transition temperature, above which it ceases being a true solid and takes on a consistency more like chewing gum. Increase the temperature enough from there, and it will simply combust.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Now that’s an Auton.

I see what you did there. Nicely played :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

In what set did we get a Zac Efron minifigure?

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Interesting to see that the 'flesh' color debuted on figures like these. I never really considered before what color they would be but it makes sense that it was around before the 2003 basketball figures.

Also, here you can see that technic figs and belville figs are closer than you might think.

He looks to me like he's a distant relation of the Technic fig.

And joke about this figure as much as you like, but in terms of articulation he beats both the minidoll (naturally) and the minifig.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Kill it until it's dead! Then bury it alive!

Looks like a Playmobil figure with a bit more articulation and a creepy face....

Or a simple, old-fashioned stake through the heart.

Which works on just about anything, and that's fantastic if you run out of monsters and you're still in a stabby sort of a mood, that morning.

"Nuke the site from orbit; it's the only way to be sure."

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Dude. Please. Put some clothes on.

I mean, it's not *so* bad; the Belville figures at least have underwear printed on them. Just wait until the inevitable day when an unclothed Scala doll shows up as Random 'Minifigure'...

Seriously though, I personally am okay with the Belville figures (the children at least; the adult ones are more unnerving to me). With their extensive articulation, as AustinPowers mentioned, I could see them being a good base for creating custom action figures; just need some paint and whatever material you'd use to sculpt some modifications to the design (including clothes, naturally). It's something I'd be pretty interested in trying myself, in fact, given the opportunity.

1998…is this the time that Lego was almost dead as a company? Because it would make a lot of sense.

But can it switch heads with a minifig? Because if he does i want that fig!

Gravatar

Those eyes! You can feel it yearning to devour your soul. You shouldn't let it in the house.

It's probably part of some disturbing Gilbert & George style art installation.

They should add one of these to every CMF series simply to stop people ripping the boxes until they got home.

No, they'd be even more incentivized to rip the boxes open, to make sure they didn't have to, y'know, actually buy one.
