This RPotD post is probably going to get removed in about 30 minutes but the most recent set I got this in 71247 Harry Potter Team Pack.

For those wondering the RPotD is the Weasley’s car hood with headlights piece.

Edit: the image has been fixed around 8:10 CST!

Is this one of those jumps scare internet things from the mid 2000's? If so, I'm getting out of here.

@PurpleDave: Regarding your reply to @ICAbricks yesterday (which I didn't see until this article had already posted): I once had dreams of MOCing a claw machine filled with those little guys. I have a good few of them, getting every Toy Story 1-3 set except for the poilybags (plus 10769) will do that.

If you're suggesting that it started behaving just because I showed up, I'm not going to deny that possibility, and you're welcome.

I can't remember which is which, but between S1 Robots and the TS3 Claw Aliens (plain), I've got around 70 of one and 100 of the other. S1 Robots, I was able to buy in bulk from someone in Germany who had them priced below MSRP (keeping in mind that S1 retailed for $1.99). Claw Aliens, I mostly got because of the polybag set, which was a TRU exclusive in the US. TRU would hold sales like BOGOHO, or "spend $10, free Claw Alien polybag". Whenever one of those sales popped up, I would drive around to every TRU in the area and clean them out. Depending on the terms, I was getting every 3rd or 4th polybag for free whenever I bought them.

A good couple of minifig handfuls, there.

I forgot I had this part.

Bought the packs with Voldemort/Anglia and Venkman/ECTO-1 at Walmart quite a few years ago. Definitely some time after Dimensions was retired, but before the pandemic.

I’m not sure how many CMF Claw Aliens I have, but I only bought doubles of the TS4 sets. And I once spent an entire month posting custom McTorans from the Mata Nui Online Game, without having to salvage any parts. Somewhere, I also have the display for the Batman Returns Happy Meal toys.

I had no idea that they used Cars parts in a Dimensions pack, it fits the scale, upon analysis, but it still took me off guard. I could also reverse engineer and use either the front or the back of one of the Minifig-scale Flying Fords as part of a Minifig-scale Cars car. With this color scheme, it’d be Finn McMissile from

Cars 2! Cars 2! It’s a movie about cars, too! Cars 2! Cars 2! It’s a movie about cars… 2!

Hmm, don’t like the way it’s looking at me…

@NotProfessorWhymzi: I remember when you could get polybag Lego sets in Happy Meal toys. I miss those days. Apparently they stopped because they were worried about kids losing the pieces before they left the restaurant. I guess their excuse for the puzzle in the TLBM Happy Meals was that it came in a tin, or that nobody puts a puzzle together and plays with it while eating.

As noted on Sunday, UK time change happens the last Sunday in October. US time change happens the first Sunday in November. It’ll be back to normal on Monday.

By in Netherlands,

Interesting, as this is listed under Dimensions (as it should be), didn't realise there was any LEGO harry potter inbetween the big gap of 2011 and 2018.

Also a good part to make a "town" sized 4 wide ford anglia instead of just non-minifig sized.

Just realized; one of these in red would help in building an awesome "Speed Buggy" MOC...:)
