Today's random minifigure is js019 Airplane Pilot with Black Pants, Black Shirt and Black Cap with Logo, a For Juniors figure that was first produced during 2002. It can be found in 2 sets.
Our members collectively own a total of 1,638 of them. If you'd like to buy one you should find it for sale at BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $0.60.

He's a lot classier than the previous 4 juniors minifigure on RMOTD. And he is only $0.60! Got to be the cheapest minifig ever on RMOTD.

Nothing screams classy like a pencil mustache.
Classy enough to be used in two sets even!
LEGO did a Village People set?
@Miyakan: Maybe the next one will only have been in one set. And the one after that in no sets, so it won't exist, and an actual good one can be picked!
Shoot, I used up my joke on RPotD...
If I may speak plane-ly, this minifigure greatly confuses me. He's got an airline pilot costume with a CS logo on the cap. Maybe he's aiming to fly to the moon, as in the Frank Sinatra song, or like in the film Airplane II - The Sequel.
@Murdoch17:
Someone mentioned this in a previous RXotD, but I'm not seeing the Classic Space logo. I'm seeing something that has a circle with a line bisecting it, but no space capsule.
I’m not letting this guy near my 10318: Concorde
JK i don’t own the Lego Concorde

My great uncle was Captain Unger in Airplane 2. He got thrown out the window into space.

was it like The Defenestration of Prague? i was there, you know."
No. In the movie the of the window of space shuttle broke and he got sucked into space I believe. It’s been a while since I saw the movie.
Even funnier early Lego Space Shuttles were built extremely similar to airplanes with most of the same parts.
@mr_oberts: Funny...I was thinking Freddy Mercury...
Annnnd...Just because...:)
Ted Striker : I flew single engine fighters in the Air Force, but this plane has four engines. It's an entirely different kind of flying, altogether.
Rumack , Randy : [together] It's an entirely different kind of flying.
“How do you do, fellow LEGO minifigures.”
I don't know if I ever posted this on a previous Jack Stone RMotD, but my mom used to buy me Lego toothbrushes which would come with a Jack Stone figure. I have 7 or so from those toothbrushes. I actually liked playing with them as scaled up Minifigures, and if I remember right I only had two or three regular Minifigures at the time.

In the next weeks we will have a review of the rest of the components
And kids, this is why LEGO had on the verge of bankruptcy
All shiny leather look with mature movies moustache.
Disturbing, really… especially those hands…
I imagine he has a very posh upper class accent and was in the RAF during the second world war.
"Chocks away chaps" and all that.

Looks like there’s the usual capsule there to me; it’s that arrowhead-ish looking thing at the end of the line

Could be black stick on serious lippage?
"Something the matter with my banter, chaps?"

Biggles flies undone
Is his name Otto, by any chance?
Since I noticed the classic space-like symbol on the octan guy's hat from a few days ago, I now notice it everywhere. It's on this guy's hat too, and on his torso as well.
Now I have YMCA stuck in my head!
Joey, have you ever been in a... in a Turkish prison?
Not Jack Stone again!!!
He's got a sweet mustache though
Can we have a "Figure" category and put into that everything that's not a regular minifigure (YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN)
TIL that Lego apparently made a Tom of Finland minifigure.

You're great uncle was Kent McCord?!? He played officer Jim Reed on Adam-12 (my mom loved that show, along with EMERGENCY!) I'll have to tell her I talked to someone who knew him!

I have actually never really talked to him. After Covid hit he’s become a recluse even more so than usual. He’s my grandma’s brother though.

sorry to hear that!
He looks like an action figure.

The categorisation depends on Bricklink which lumps all figures together, so it’s not possible for Brickset to differentiate genuine minifigures from other types of LEGO figure.
