I can see why he costs $34 dollars. He has lots of accurate detailing, despite him being from the unpopular Solo movie. (I quite enjoyed it though)
75212 looks so different from the usual Falcon that at first glance I thought it was an entirely different ship.

It’s as close as Disney has come to doing a good SW film.
I know it’s a coincidence but again the last 3 Star Wars figures from the RMotD have all been from the movie Solo. Again I know it’s random but it still feels weird.

Rogue One was a great movie as well.
Han Solo: You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon?
Ben Kenobi: Should I have?
Han: It's the ship that made the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs.
(Chewbacca has a PTSD flashback of almost getting devoured by a Black Hole while smuggling Coaxium for a crime syndicate)
Han: It's fast enough for you, old man. What's the cargo?
Ben: Myself, the boy, two droids and no questions asked.
Han: What is it, a little local trouble?
Ben: Let's just say we want to avoid any Imperial entanglements.
(Chewbacca has a PTSD flashback of when the Falcon was being boarded and Han dumped Jabba's cargo)
Han: Well that's the trick isn't it. And it's gonna cost you - 15,000. All in advance.
Luke Skywalker: We can almost buy our own ship for that much!
Han: But who's gonna fly it kid, you?
(Chewbacca has a PTSD flashback of Han flying the Falcon for the first time and nearly getting him killed)
Luke: You bet, I'm not such a bad pilot myself.
*Ben motions Luke to sit down and shut up*
Ben: We can pay you twelve now, plus five more when we reach Alderaan.
Han: Seventeen, huh? Ok you got yourself a ship. Docking Bay 94.
*Luke and Ben exit scene to avoid stormtroopers searching the bar*
Han: Get back to the ship and ready it for takeoff. Seventeen? These guys must really be desperate, this will really save my neck.
(Chewbacca has a PTSD flashback to when Jabba put a huge bounty of both their heads... wait a second did he say HIS neck, not OUR necks?)

Only people who haven't watched Solo seem to notice it.
@Endermen89
Yes, Rouge One was also quite enjoyable.
By the way, I remembered all that dialog myself. No references were made, nor any videos watched. Any errors were caused by George Lucas' meddling with the story over the years, and certainly not by me mis-remembering...

I in fact didn't watch Solo, so that would in fact explain that.
@Maxbricks14 I hate to be that guy but just so you know you typed my username wrong it’s endermen39 instead of endermen89. It’s actually a shortened version of a username that I’ve been using for about 8 years, endermen99876. The even shorter version of the short version would be endermen3.

Yeah that thing in the front is supposed the escape pod. Every time I look at the Solo falcon I think Perry the Platypus for whatever reason, I honestly don’t know why I think that.

Very good job, nonetheless!

I've seen dictionaries with less predictable plots. I knew everyone would die as soon as the droid got shot, and I even called the one who doesn't actually die, comes back to save the day, and then dies.

Honestly the best part about the whole movie was the battle of Scarif the ending was good too.

Yes, easily the best one, though Rouge One would be 2nd best, but i didn't like that it used new characters. And the sequels belong in the bin, not our TV screens!

I loved Rogue One, but Rouge One sounds very interesting too.
Does it involve a more fluid squadron that kicks ass in space AND on the dance floor? ;)
I wish we had more generic civlian clothing for Star Wars settings in cheaper sets. I've misappropriated Owen Grady's outfit and some other parts like Ninjago torsos, but most of them have specific prints that limit their usefulness. annoying if you want to diversify the population of your MOCs.

@TheOtherMike I wasn’t paying attention and I was tired. I am the worst at spelling words that look the same but have different meanings.
Edit:NVM I didn’t see that @MaxBricks14 was the one who put Rouge One. I thought it was me because I’m normally the one who makes these mistakes. But I finally spelled it correctly for once.
Star Wars: 90210.

Noice!! Celtics won.
The very best thing about Solo was Darth Maul’s post-Phantom Menace survival being acknowledged in live-action. Otherwise, it was kinda sorta oh-kay.
Rogue One was a descent sci-fi spy thriller that succeeded in demonstrating that they could make movies taking place in the Star Wars universe without them being Star Wars movies. Both Saw Gerrera and C1-10P making their live action debuts didn’t hurt, and neither did seeing Darth Vader - around whom the story did not revolve - going through those rebels like a hot knife through butter.
Solo was the only one of the Disney SW movies I didn't see in theatres (Deadpool 2 had more convenient screening times), but once I did see it, it really reinvigorated my love of the franchise for a good few years. I don't think it's that great a movie, somewhere around the middle ranks of the theatrical films, but it definitely worked as a gateway into the Expanded Universe for me.
At first I was surprised he was only in two sets but of course that’s just that specific version of Young Han, there’s like half a dozen different variations of him for the other sets in the range
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaan SOLO!!!

Wasn't that the whole point of the movie? We all knew where it was going, but the joy was in getting there. Sometimes it's not about the destination but about the ride.
Saw 75512 in the window of a charity shop in Chester yesterday. Thought I might be onto a bargain(!) but they must have had good advice as it was priced at £350.

You could probably build it from your own parts if you have the figs
All the discussion of how good a movie Solo was or was not and no-one's brought up the single dumbest thing in the movie? Han's last name did not need an origin story. Other than that, good movie.

Don't remember han solo being in the best travis scott song
I'm gonna say it: Solo gets too much hate. It was overall a great, action-packed, heist-film-style movie!
Although I do agree that Dryden Vos was kind of a throwaway villain. I have heard people say Solo would've been better as a TV series. I can agree, but I also think what we did get was still amazing.
Rogue One, on the other hand... I have mixed feelings about. The writing was actually pretty good, and we got some of the coolest spaceship designs ever to come out of Star Wars. That, and we can all agree that the Darth Vader hallway scene was EPIC.
But the movie's plot just felt like a waste of two hours. We really did not need an entire movie about how the Rebels got the Death Star plans! A comic book or a novel would've sufficed. Also all the characters dying at the end was just dumb.
@Maxbricks14:
I recently read that they're giving Rey another movie, and all I could think about all day was Bob Hoskins shoving his fingers in his ears so he could use the wax to twirl up her mustache, as he said, "Like you? We could make the little buggers love you."
@Endermen39:
Rogue Squadron/Rouge Squadron may be one of the most common typos on the internet. Years ago, I remember looking up the script online, and every single instance was spelled "rouge". The ironic thing is that rouge is French for red, which was the squadron Luke flew with in Ep4. So in that sense it almost works.
@WizardOfOss:
And that's the reason Ep3 is my least favorite of the six Star Wars films. It just bridged the gap between two well-established dots, without straying very far out of its very defined territory.
@TheOtherMike:
The single dumbest thing about the Solo movie was how many people on the internet were whinging about how Han looked nothing like Ford, but that Lando was a perfect match for Williams. He's not. Not even a little bit, which just plays very uncomfortably into the "all black people look the same" trope.
@PurpleDave said:

What came before was utterly disappointing, what comes after it is just classic, and we all knew what was going to happen. But while certainly not flawless, for most part it felt satisfying, the saving grace for the whole prequel trilogy. And in fact the movie that got me on board with the whole Star Wars franchise again. The first two prequels made me forget how iconic the original trilogy was.
Rogue One felt decidedly different, more like unabashed fan service. More about the world and the characters than the actual story. And it had Donnie Yen, what more do you need?

Lmao yes one of those things that some studio writer thinks needs an origin an absolutely does not. Did anyone in history say “Well I love the character but I just don’t get why his last name is Solo.”

Less fan service, better characters, and better story. And compare Donnie Yen in this film vs John Wick 4, where he again played a blind man, but one who could actually fight, and wasn't merely delusional.

Haven't seen that one yet. But films in which Donnie Yen can actually fight? Isn't that like every film he ever made? It was fun seeing him doing something else ;-)

Films where someone can't fight? I can watch pretty much any western from my dad's childhood. There are some where you can see that the fist never came within inches of the person being knocked down.
Like a lot of people, though, I'd never even heard of Yen until watching Rogue One, so all I saw was a character who had no purpose in the film, other than to add to the body count. And JW4 was when I finally understood the point of his stunt-casting in Rogue One. For those who aren't avid viewers of martial arts films, the role would have worked better if they'd cast someone who was a household name, which currently would limit the options to Chuck Norris and Jackie Chan. Otherwise it's just a random guy who can't fight.

You. Never. Heard. Of. The. Legendary. Donnie. Yen.
Blasphemy!
Even when he might not have become a Hollywood household name like Jackie Chen or Jet Li, he did star in several films that did get quite a bit of recognition here in the west, like Ying Xiong (Hero) or the Ip Man series. And there's also this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYS3JiVQpfk
FWIW, in a vote on the Star Wars website, his character was voted the favorite character of Rogue One. Seems like many people liked what he did.

Donnie Yen as Wong Kei-ying in Iron Monkey - maybe the best wire-fu movie EVER - was amazing. He’s a great actor as well as a great martial artist. It was great seeing him in Rogue One.

He got his name from an Imperial who just came up with it out of thin air. That was really dumb and pulled me out of the story.
@MutoidMan:
See, I watched Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon when it hit theaters in the US. And so many of the comments were about how Iron Monkey was a vastly superior film in that genre that, when that hit theaters for a limited engagement, I went and watched that, too. And I wasn't that impressed. Fans of that genre may hold it up as the best film in that genre, but CTHD was a better _film_.

Not to mention how in the promotions for solo Disney was claiming that L3 was the first female droid. What ever happened to the silver protocol droid from the phantom menace?
I can't believe how much love there is for Solo in this comment thread and how Rogue One is sort of getting a brush off. When both movies came out, Rogue One was critically acclaimed, and Solo was dumped on (personally, I enjoy them both but like Rogue One more).

Or the waitress droid, who had a built-in skirt, in Ep2?

Nostalgia and rose tinted glasses are powerful things.
I, personally hated Solo (watched it once, that was enough) but have watched Rogue One at least four times.
I'd never heard of Donnie yen before seeing Rogue One but I was a huge fan of Alan Tudyk. So I just had to get 75120.
