considering the fact said set also has pirates, ninjas, and an astronaut, i'm just gonna say that that is a fantastic question to which no satisfactory answer will be forthcoming."

Well pirates appear in many fantasy stories, same with ninjas. And lots of people want to be an astronaut so they have also made their way into fantasy tales.

I'm pretty sure most Hollywood depictions of cowboys and the Wild West are fantasy.

The character is smiling. That never happened in the Old West. Pure fantasy.

I'm pretty sure Cowboys vs James Bond vs Native Americans vs Indiana Jones vs Aliens is a historical documentary.

Strange that Education/Dacta no longer really sells these big minifig packs. Used to be, they had huge City/Town packs (which I bought way back when during my TFOL years), as well as other (often smaller) themed packs like this. Now, I've noticed that Education sets are heavily robotics based. Duplo continues on with the figure and animal packs, however

@PurpleDave: Was the 'documentary' called "The Wild, Wild West"...series is good, movie was (rocks hand back/forth)

As to the figure: Get more a "Hi, I'm Brick Vila...again..." vibe...not that that's a bad thing:)

Nnnnooo. And Wild, Wild West was better when it was called The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.

I prefer it as The Hallelujah Trail.

"Bootleg Elsa"
"Snow Queen - Non-Disney" resents your spurious accusation.

"Things that belong in the realm of fantasy, according to this set:

- Happy-go-lucky prospectors!
- Mortal Kombat's "Rain" and "Smoke"!
- Bootleg Elsa and WALL-E!
- Female Archers!
- Goths!
- The Moon Landing!
- Medium Women!
- The Japanese!

And MORE!

Unfortunately, the lovechild of Norman Osborn and Gwen Stacy is canon, though. Sorry. You wish I were kidding? Dang, -I- wish I were kidding."

Thankfully, Sins Past has been retconned so the whole set now fits under the “fantasy” label

Wasn't there a sequel, Dinosaurs VS. Aliens? Or did I dream that up?
