That's one angry looking bat! but I don't think it can take on a turtle and an elf with special powers though.

Trans-bat?

I was the same, then was lucky enough to purchase the entire set of Elves, 35 set's. I have slowly been building them and finding a place for them to live. Hopefully you can find some also.

Aesthetically, almost the opposite. Orange is blue's complementary color, black is that of white, and yellow is close to what pink's complementary color is (yellow-green).

This may not be the first "minifig" that required no construction, but it's going to be hard to beat this in terms of lowest piece count. I'd only grant it if we got a single-piece character that didn't require dual-molding.

Gee, we're really stretching the definition of "minifig" today.

Something like Ant-Man ? single piece , no dual mould https://brickset.com/minifigs/90398pb007/ant-man- (scott-lang)-statuette-trophy-original-suit

@TeriXeri:
Sure, trophy figs and microfigs count. There are also single-piece molded SW aliens like the original Sebulba or the second version of Aldar Beedo. Those two don’t even have any deco. Straight from the mold to the box.

@Maxbricks14: It's not Huwbot's fault, it's Bricklink; they're the ones who we get our data on what is and isn't a minifig from, Huwbot just draws on that data like a good robot.
Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics:
One: A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
Two: A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
Three: A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
Huwbot's just adhering to the Second Law. (Yes, some would argue that certain Random Whatever of the Day selections harm humans, but they've certainly provided entertaining comment sections.)

I don’t think anyone has actually admitted to tearing their hair out, but I can’t rule out the possibility.

By in Hungary,

It is as much a minifig, as a bunny head on a red cube.

I have about 10 sets from the theme. They are not that great, but, are good for unique and rare parts.

I agree whole heartedly. While Bricklink may classify this as a minifig, it is really a specialized part that poses as a figure.

I miss Elves. Last year I finally got to try out one and I love it. Too bad we only have Friends left for minidolls right now.
Although Dreamzzz is somewhat filling that fantasy adventure niche, although it's not the same.

Well that’s no way to describe today’s Random Set

This is why we need different classification for all different characters.
Thereare:
Throphigs
Gamefigs
Minifigs
Buildfigs
Bigfigs
Unusual characters, like Book of monsters

Whenever I see this figure I have to think of jelly candies in bat form, found around halloween.

Elves were short lived, but on par with themes like ninjago regarding stories and builds. I bought the whole series for my kids back then - only one minor set escaped the frenzy. And they began building their own stuff from scratch out of these remarkable sets.

There’s still Disney Princess. That’s not an offshoot of the Friends theme, and definitely falls into the “fantasy adventure” genre.

Eh, I was always convinced that animals and other creatures like dinosaurs etc. that are a special mould should be considered a minifigure. It would be very convenient for an overview what you actually own.
Especially since so many droids that could be easily built from any parts-bin ARE count as a minifigure.

To me, it looks less like a bat, and more like a winged cat.

That is but a taste of our Furi! Do you yield?

When I first saw this, ithought it was a Dreamzzz character.

2015-2018 is short-lived?
