Yet another example of a minifigure that's not a minifigure!
And the position it's in looks like it's been cut in half and is crawling back to base. The transparent orange piece helps it look like it has been.
Surely this robot won't murder me in my sleep!

If this is a minifigure, then my name is Nick Bluetooth - rightful ruler of the Outer Dimension of Galidor.

Yeah, I'm not falling for it. I don't care about Brickset, BrickLink, or Lego's definition of "minifigure". This travesty of pieces is absolutely NOT a "minifigure".

Maybe not, but you always have the Nesquik Bunny to worry about.

This thing's clearly the victim. Look at how the waist is all charred and molten, and how the legs are all not there anymore.

What if it had a minifig head instead of a tile?

Well, you'd need to swap the trans-orange with trans-red, for starters. Oh, wait, sorry, misunderstood the point of the question.
A well respected, productive CITYzen.
“Father…give me leeeeegs!”
Now that I think about it...looks like Wall-E and EVA had(built?) a kid...and I'm not upset....Hmm, 'Wall-EVA'...:D
It’s crawling after Sarah Connor.

All part of the punishment. He will suffer as he feels the pain of each cut and burn taking away yet another piece from his body, and then when he's nothing but a CPU, then death shall release him.

LEGO is typically very careful over what they call a minifigure in set descriptions and advertising. Whereas Bricklink and by extension Brickset are incredibly lax.

I realized in December that the cactus costume works just as well as a pickle costume. And since a little girl actually pointed out the pickle on our layout at Detroit Symphony Orchestra, it just shows I was right.

“A wolf remains a wolf, even if it has not eaten your sheep.”
Why does a space drone count as a minifigure?

"It comes int pints?"
Since the debate rages again:
There is a difference between a minifigure and a character. This is a character, not a minifigure. HOWEVER, most people who collect minifigures are also interested in collecting characters, especially for themes like Minecraft or Mario where a lot of characters are brickbuilt. Brickset/Bricklink has no separate menu for characters so it is important to include them with the true minifigures to help maintain collections. Same reason that bigfigs and Duplo figures are under that menu.
I loved this line of Space in City. In fact, it feels like a direct predecessor to the current 2024 line up, the color scheme being very similar and the modulars from 2019 working with those of 2024 and looking good doing it. Missed out on the bigger sets from back then but that will be rectified this year for sure. As for this "figure," I modified mine slightly to give him some dignity, you know having legs and something like a torso to help him get out and about.
