Today's random minifigure is cty0128 Police - City Suit with Blue Tie and Badge, Black Legs, Brown Moustache, White Hat, a Town figure that came in one set, 8401 City Minifigure Collection, released during 2009.
Our members collectively own a total of 10,777 of them. If you'd like to buy one you should find it for sale at BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $1.60.

A minifig I own!
I have two of the set he's in. I named it the signs and citizens battlepack.
Must be the lighting. That Mustache looks ginger.

I got a lot of the 2008-9 police sets, so when I got two of the set he was in, I already had like 8 of that torso.

In the US, it's Memorial Day on Monday, so no postal deliveries.
To me this is the guy that was in the first City hospital, except there he was in civvies.

My favourite LEGO police torso of all time, hands down.
The head is some nice variety, but he's not a personal favourite.

But...he's a cop, not a postal worker. Also, they deliver a lot of Priority Mail on Sundays, and even regular parcels leading up to Christmas.

He uses the same face as the old Vernon Dursley minifigure from Harry Potter. And that was one of hus iconic lines from The Sorcerer's Stone.
That face looks so goofy that I love it so much. Also, he might have an invisible nose as well

That's exactly what I said about yesterday's Random Minifig from the football (soccer) team. The SOC039 is totally out of place.

So grumpy looking, but then the set he’s in does have him eying up a potential confrontation in the making so maybe he’s just thinking “here we go again…”

Okay, sure, but it would have worked a lot better if this minifig was a postal worker. I'm sure he also threw out at least one line about having Harry locked up in that book, didn't he?
I own this one! He's definitey not the most corrupt cop of them all, and he's definitely not about to have sometging happen to the others because he's been paid off...
For a minute I thought this guy was meant to be a modernized version of cop014s, just because of the colors and the hat. I just straight up forgot Lego cops kept looking like that well into the era of more detailed minifigs.
I've got two of this guy, one with a white hat and one with a black hat.
As a child who interacted with this City Police line far more than any real law enforcement officers, I was surprised to learn that all cops didn't wear suits and ties on duty.
Someone stole his box of doughnuts.
"Brown Moustache"...in what world; that clearly look orange to me, which would put him in the 'redhead' category...
