By in Netherlands,

Curious if this one'll pop up again around Christmas time.

By in Canada,

Cute but also ridiculous, I just got something yesterday to get the Jules Verne set; didn't think that two GWPs were going to overlap.

This no-calendar thing is kind of annoying.

By in United Kingdom,

Was very pleasantly surprised to see this suddenly appear in my basket early this morning after picking my order several days ago.

Yeah, about half a year too early (or late) for us Europeans. But perfectly timed for the US.

By in New Zealand,

I wonder if LEGO needs a fireworks licence to sell them?

By in Poland,

Considering how Lego seems to promote environmentally friendly solutions in their sets, like EVs (yes, their eco-friendliness is arguable but let's not get into the details here), renewables and trash sorting, I'm surprised they made a fireworks set when fireworks have a proven negative impact on the environment. They could have gone with a laser show or something.

Looks pretty cute but I don't really want a 2nd Jules Verne set so I'll hang on for a couple of days to see if the Sweet Shop GWP turns up (rumoured for either the 1st or 9th July).

Jules Verne is gone if it makes you feel any better.

By in Taiwan,

Interesting to see how those fireworks are nearly identical to some Loz sets that have been available for years....coincidence or "inspired"?

That said, cute little set, certainly not bad considering the threshold. Timing is a bit odd indeed.

Lego's refusal to reinstate the calendar is their way of saying we should care less and buy less.

We just don't listen.

I like fireworks so I tried to buy something, but the website is currently having a nervous breakdown.

.... Really? Lego also produces airplanes, Ferraris, and cruise ships which are "bad" for the environment. A comment on the environmental impact real life things have on a children's toy is silly to put it lightly.

considering the minifigures are wearing a sweater and hoodie, I say its not exactly July 4th themed and proabably come back for new years and Chinese new years :)

The sweater is to keep off the mosquitos that will swarm you in large portions of the US

I mean... this is also not the first Lego set to include fireworks builds like this one. The Story of Nian set from 2021 featured similar builds three years ago, which is in all likelihood what some of those clone brands were copying in the first place.

Never seen that set before, but yeah, indeed similar. Still, pretty sure that Loz set was available before that. I got my first Loz sets during the early phase of the pandemic, and pretty sure it was already available then.

And obvioulsy, there are way more instances of other brands copying Lego than the other way around. And it might also have been part of some fan design (Ideas?) even before that, it's not like the Chinese companies shy away from copying entire fan designs. It's just funny how it's no longer exclusively going one way anymore.

I don't have any intention of trying to get this, but I like the build. Som NPU there.

Since that's November 5th, I consider that to be 'around Christmas time'. It only misses a Guy Fawkes effigy.

Looks like I'll be getting this anyway, with my 10338. Honestly, I'm looking forward to the build.
