Both at the same time isn't super helpful!

I wonder if Ninjago modulars are taking a break because we have these and the new normal Ninjago D2C this year?

By in United States,

Very excited to pick these up! They look great!

I'll probably wait until the next new GWP offer before I pick up the next one, though.

By in Netherlands,

Two at once? While they look great and are must haves for me, what's the sudden rush? ;-)

Cool magnets! But just the classic Space one for me.

By in United States,

The micro Ninjago line is really cool. But the value on them isn’t great. Especially for no unique parts or prints (unless I missed something). I’m on the fence with those.

Okay, the magnets are pretty cool. I’d like these designs as enamel pins, too.

By in Netherlands,

Lmao it's possible to get 100 of the new ninjago sets.
Magnet are looking great but require to many VIP points.

The first two still being available and releasing the last two at the same time suggests to me these didn’t go down so well with the overall Lego community as Lego had hoped. For example I have all 4 of the proper sets but didn’t bother with any of these micro versions.

Oh damn, I just blew all my points on vouchers but I need that Royal Knight magnet in my life

They are insanely overpriced and they are as very good mocs also available on rebrickable.

By in Ireland,

Site just crashed while i was placing an order. Typical.

Gravatar
By in United States,

You can still just redeem one of these per order, right?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Best of all is the Speed Champions McLaren Formula 1 Car 30683 polybag for just 500 points!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Well, I just had to place to orde for these suckers... Baffling you can't apply multiple codes...

Same here. For someone who already has the full size ones, why spend insane amounts of VIP points to get the small versions, which are basically only a heap of tiny 1x1s anyway.

I have no interest in Ninjago but I do like the magnets, especially on their stands.

Was hoping for some new Tin Signs, but it looks like they're finished now.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

15€ for a tiny magnet?! Must be made of first grade neodymium.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I hate that you can only redeem one reward per order. Doesn’t really make me feel like a VIP. Though I guess it’s “Insider” now.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That’s crazy expensive for a magnet, I think I’ll just 3D print one instead.

By in Australia,

And here in Australia we finally have the Docks available for the first time ever. No sign of these 2 new ones though

By in United States,

I did not see the magnets when I was looking through the Reward Center before ordering 10338, although I did see that they had all for Micro Ninjago City sets. But I'm not all that upset for two reasons: One, those are a lot of points to spend, and as far as the duck goes, I already have 5007505 (besides, I'm saving my points for those two Space sets from the Ideas competition, once those become available). Two, I got 30647 with the order instead, so would have to place another order to get one of them, any way.

By in United States,

I think the micro-Ninjago City sets are fairly enough priced, and the Gardens one is charming enough to make me consider getting all the rest. The Market looks ugly, but so does the original IMO. I don't intend to get the full sized Ninjago City Market, but it might make sense to have a complete set of the micro versions, especially as I don't have enough room to display the three larger ones that I do own.

No magnets for me, though. Just not my bag....

Oh, and @Sarria -- thank you for the heads-up about the McLaren polybag! That *is* good value for money!!

By in Netherlands,

I went to the Lego Store this afternoon to pick up Bumblebee. In advance I checked if a new micro Ninjago City set was availble. It was not so bought Bumblebee. And now the micro sets are available. That is pretty lame.

If you do 'too many' transactions as an insider, this might rise suspicions and get you into troubles.

Plenty of demand for the micro's so far on the aftermarket.
Yes I'm also surpized

Same here in Singapore, Docks only just made available to redeem and I'm about to place an order with it.

To get the last 2 had to place 2 separate orders in future as and when available, can't even redeem more than 1 GWP per order. Guess that's how they make money, forcing you to buy more just to redeem the "free" sets.

Why is it so? Placing many orders mean more business for them, no?

By in United States,

FWIW, I have all 4 Ninjago sets, and just finished building the miniature versions.

It was great to build the smaller versions.

There are a total of 1,355 pieces in the mini versions.
There are a total of 18,268 pieces in the original versions.
The mini versions represent 7.42% in terms of piece-count.

40703 Micro NINJAGO City 339
40704 Micro NINJAGO Docks 275
40705 Micro NINJAGO City Gardens 376
40706 Micro NINJAGO City Markets 365

70620 NINJAGO City 4,867
70657 NINJAGO City Docks 3,553
71741 NINJAGO City Gardens 3,685
71799 NINJAGO City Markets 6,163

Nice analysis!
But vastly smaller parts, no prints, and no Minifigures with the Micro builds!
So nowhere near 7.42% of the value, sadly!

Docks became available a week or so back, But the magnets and the docks at once and these 2 coming isn't good with their crazy 1 per order rule and our crazy high free shipping level of $150..

USA free shipping is $35, approx $52 AU.

So USA Insiders could get 3 Insider rewards for free shipping for around the same price as us ordering 1 reward for free shipping...
