Two-pack beer holder.
"My glasses! I- I can't afford more glasses!"
Actually, you can. These pieces are like 25 cents.
"You wouldn't hit a Brickheadz with glasses would you?"
Most recent set I got this piece in: 41615: Harry Potter & Hedwig
Somewhere out there in the world, Velma (from Scooby-Doo) is blindly looking for her glasses, oblivious to the shenanigans / goings-on around her. You'd think she'd get contacts, Lasik eye surgery, or staple them to her head by now, 55 years on!*
*do not staple things to your head. See your doctor for details, experiences may vary, things in your mirror are closer than than appear, etc...

*Hits the Brickheadz WITH his glasses*
Used for one year, then retired. A neat element, but apparently not a super useful one (outside of round glasses)
The square-framed version lives on though, used most recently in the upcoming set 75392! Being used as fences and railings, as well as glasses.

Well, Harrison Ford stapled Indiana Jones' hat to his head while filming once, and he turned out fine.
Or maybe not, because that was the Last Crusade, and after that the Indy films went downhill...

He's also been in a number of plane accidents / incidents caused by himself... and no, I'm not talking about the Air Force 1 film! Side note: 'Doom', 'Skull', and 'Destiny' do not exist. There are only two IJ films and the TV show.

The god-awful endless SCREAMING, the darker tone, extremely graphic sacrificial heart-stealing scene (They invented PG-13 because of this film!)... The list goes on.
It was made during a dark time in Spielberg's life, and he should have just waited and done it with a clearer mind later. Would have been WAY better!

The original trilogy of the Indy films are so great. I can't believe you hate it.
(Although it is my least favourite of the original three)

Looks like he knocked the glasses right off that Brickheadz' face.
@Murdoch17:
They created the PG-13 rating at Spielberg's suggestion, because he found the PG rating too constricting when directing Temple of Doom and producing Gremlins. It was not created _because_ of either of those films.
To me they look more like handcuffs.
Category buildings & furniture. Here are all the sets where it's used as part of a building or furniture:
Conjoined Lifebuoy
Double toilet seat.

"Double toilet seat."
The proper term is “two holer”.
FYI: This will be the last RPotD for the time being, in part due to the number of missing images on LEGO's server.

Well that's depressing.

That’s a shame. It was always fun seeing the more curious examples come up and I’ll miss the commentary on what sets people have the piece appeared in

Any idea when it will be able to return, or would answering that require knowledge you're not privy to?
