LEGO Star Wars: The Force of Creativity book available now
Posted by CapnRex101,
5008878 LEGO Star Wars: The Force of Creativity is now available to purchase on LEGO.com for immediate dispatch, after its long pre-order period.
I discussed the book in a review back in April and it is definitely my favourite LEGO Star Wars book, giving unrivalled insight into the theme's history and product development today.

Looks amazing. Wonder if it will ever get a decent discount though? If people say unlikely then I will get it sooner! Cheers
1989 SEK / €170?
I would get it, if it were like 3 times cheaper
Tempting, may consider it when I’m back from my upcoming holiday.
I can't ever justify that cost for a book, but I'm not a die hard SW stan. If it ever got a decent discount I will consider it.
It looks like it has useful and fun information otherwise so I'm sure it will be a fun read. Maybe my local library will get a copy and I can peruse it then.
I preordered this book in early May, hopefully it will get here soon.
Wondering if this will ever get a release outside of Lego, because if not I don’t think I’ll ever get it. I’ve never seen Lego do more than a 40% discount on anything, and at $90 even that wouldn’t be enough for me to pull the trigger on this. But other retailers could certainly go lower than that
Just like the Ferrari book, it seems like this book is not available in Canada.
The Millennium Falcon crossed with an Imperial Star Destroyer? Sounds like something out of rebuild the galaxy!
Don't care.
Oh great, another Star Wars release and no exclusive figure. The PPP is awful at 48 cents per page, though some of you LEGO apologists will say, “everything is printed!” I could get a real life Star Wars book for 1/20 this cost. They’re obviously going to continue stealing designs from LEGO Ideas to fund their Lamborghini habits. The side build of a case around the book is also simply a ridiculous attempt to justify the final ludicrous price, which will be 70% off at Amazon in no time flat.
Bingo.

Doesn't count if you made the comment(s) yourself. But thanks for the laugh.
My preorder says it was shipped but DPD seems to have no idea what the status is - guess they can blame it on the global IT outage! Hopefully it’ll get resolved start of next week
Sadly not available in Canada...
This costs more than a deluxe edition of most Tolkien books, with laughably inferior content. Nah, I think I’ll go with the Tolkien books

I don't know if things are different across the po0nd, but I always have to wait for around a day before I can actually track the package.

Yes, 1 or 2 days here too. I have a feeling 'shipped' actually means 'packed but waiting in a loading bay'!
Mine just arrived. It’s a big box
At that price I think it’s reasonable to have included the figures for the Toyfair promo and even the sound chip for it. Like others have said I personally think it’s a ridiculous price, but in all fairness this sort of “Art of” book does tend to retail around there - I think the Disney ones in particular used to be silly money. With any luck they might do a budget version for the proletariat.

Probably more accurate to say, packed, label printed with tracking number, waiting on the shipping company to pull their finger out and collect or scan it.
When I send stuff from work it takes a good 8 to 12 hours after sending to have it change from "pending" to "we have it" with Australia Post.
