First!!! I love Bricklink!
That wave's gonna be an expensive one for me. All great, will try to ge one of each.
Ahh...Autumn..Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness....and a large kick in the wallet in October!
Im contacting Lego accounts department to get their bank details. That way i can just have my wages paid straight to them.
They all look great but Lost City is quit expensive for what it is. It looks great from the front side but interior is just bare and missing the details of the other sets.
I think I'll get the camp site and the chocolate shop but the harbourmaster's office is tempting. I haven't opened my 21310 Old Fishing Store yet but it might look nice beside it.
Like and want them all, but ouch! I guess I'll have to figure out which ones I like the best, because very few people have that much lying around to spend on hobbies.
I kind of wish they'd spread these out a bit more, so one could pick them up a couple at a time. I could convince myself I could swing that, but not right around a thousand bucks at a go.
Finally we get different prices in euro and usd!!
All except the lost city
lost city is bit expensive for what it is compare to forest stronghold.
So wait, are these official Lego releases? Where can I buy them?
My favorite would be the Harbourmaster Office, but I won't be getting any of them. I haven't even gotten around to building the Venetian Houses and the Old Fishing Boat yet, let alone dozens of other huge sets I have amassed over the years. I'm on the contrary even thinking about selling off some of my collection, since I just don't have the room for it anymore.

Pretty reasonable pricing, but shipping + import tax are quite a turn-off.

uh? I have never paid any of those....

You get them through the bricklink website, on crowdfunding day the purchase links take you into the Lego site to buy them.
I was contemplating three of them, but seeing prices, I'm not so sure now. I know you don't pay for them straight away, they only hold the money for 24hrs, but it's still a lot six months later when they're ready to ship.
I really could do with reviews on these, or links to the other sites that do reviews. I know thay there seems to be a system in place where sites only review one set each, but it would be nice to know who has reviewed what before they sellout, as they sell out so quickly, and not everyone can afford to get all of them.
I had already decided on 910033, but it wasn't until 910029 had sold out that I saw a review and regretted not purchasing on crowdfunding day as opposed to three months later off eBay for more than original pricing. I know that's the price you pay, but if I had seen a review earlier....
Anyway, given that lesson this summer, I am undecided as to what to do, even if it does mean spending nearly £650 in one go.
After all, I can always stick them on eBay...

Me neither. Shipping is free for orders of 55 Euro and above, and import tax doesn't apply iirc.
I went back and forth with Ominous Isle last time but eventually passed. I wonder if I should have committed to it at the time and taken the next six months to reconsider. I guess that just didn’t feel right to me for some silly reason.

To Germany???
I may just get hooked up on the caravan.
Encore une fois mon compte de banque sera amputé de plus de 2000$ en incluant 15% de taxes. FÉLICITATIONS aux créateurs de ces belles pieces.SALUTATION DU QUÉBEC.

Same, I got Brick Cross and Mushroom House but passed on Ominous. I have Rock Island Refuge, several Forbidden Islands, and Barracuda Bay, so Pirates is a well-homed theme.
For this round, I'm not sure if I want the Forestmen or not. I have Castle in the Forest, and the whole original Forestmen line, plus some of Dark Forest. It feels pretty similar to CitF, if larger, but $300 is a lot.
Art of Chocolate is a likely buy, it can go well with Winter Village (which is getting a centerpiece of Mountain Fortress) so that may be my only one this time around.
Wow. Every single one of these looks great. I especially like The Art of Chocolate and Camping Adventure.
I was big on these at first, but the lack of printed instructions is a deal breaker for me. Seems petty, I know, but when I build them off a tablet or a laptop screen, it's just not the same fun.
Easy to know the top 3 which will sell out first... ;)
I love the Forest Stronghold and Harbormaster's Office!

Last time I looked up prices it was shipping from the US. That was when the first program launched. When they're producing and shipping within the EU, this, of course, doesn't apply anymore.
I'm really running out of space to buy many more $299 LEGO castles, so I'm a bit on the fence... But it's the Forestmen, so I might cave again...

Sets in the first program (with the Lowenstein Castle) were packed in the Bricklink office in the US and shipped from there. Sets in later programs were packed by Lego and shipped from wherever they ship orders that you place at lego.com. That's also why you can only order sets from the current programs if you live in a country where lego.com ships.
Prices are a bit better than the last wave. The camping one is cute, but the chocolate is way too cluttered, I don't even understand what am I looking at. Other 3 are too predictable and boring. Not the best wave, save for the camper.
The Forest Stronghold looks nice, but why black trees? Don't get it..

All Bricklink designer sets (except for the original 2018 program) come from the Denmark factory according to TLG.
Harbormaster set + Jaws set.. perfection. Very tempting
I think when the finalists were announced - I was really excited for Lost City. The empty interior (with the price) has made me rethink that.
1 for me is Forest Stronghold. It's probably my 2nd favorite BDP Castle themed set after the upcoming Adventures in Transylvania
2 for me is the Harbormaster's Office. I'm not crazy about the stickers, but I like sailboats IRL so this one appeals to me (since the Old Fishing Store 21310 was released and retired during my Dark Age).
3 is the Camping Adventure I feel like the small set in each BDP round (Snack Shack - 910030, Mushroom House - 910037 , and now Camping Adventure) is usually so colorful and fun - the fall leaves definitely remind me of the seasonal plants in Botanicals - Bonsai Tree 10281 and Ideas - Treehouse 21318 .
4 would be the Lost City

Because black trees are authentic to the classic Forestmen sets.
I’m tempted to get my first Designer program set(s)…. Great job all around.
Yay! Finally a Wonka movie set!
I really like some of these but I can probably cobble them together with parts I already have once the instructions become available.
1 Would be Forest Stronghold
2 Probably Harbormaster's Office but I don't like all the stickers either.
3 the Camping Adventure
The Lost City is also interesting. I like it but it seems lacking in interior decoration somewhat.
I don't love the prices on these MOCs. They look good, but I don't care enough to spend that much.
The camping is fun, but I don't NEED it. I'll wait and see maybe I can build it with what I have.
Castle fans have been eating good through the BDP. Lowenstein Castle in 2019, then Castle in the Forest in 2021, Mountain Fortress in 2024, and possibly Forest Stronghold in 2025 or 2026.
None of these sets is unreasonable if it's something you really want. (Brick Cross was like that for me in the previous series.) I'm tempted to get the Camping Adventure given it's so affordable, but I don't really need it in my collection, so I'll probably pass. When the original sets were named I really liked the Lost City, but I remember it as being more elaborate than the version they're showing now (not a surprise, of course) and I'm not sure I still want it after all. Will have to do some research...
I already buy only Designer Program sets... LEGO doesn't really take care about AFOLs. C'mon... the ideas sets become rather dust collectors... Icons the only one, where we got (once per year) a normal set...
The Art of Chocolate is awesome - so glad they kept the "doll-house" format. I know i'm in a small minority, but I much prefer the doll-house to the modular format (hi there, Haunted House!).
Will definitely get the Harbormaster to pair with the previous ship and the Old Fishing Store, plus the Art of Chocolate.
Baffled by the lack of interior in the Lost City though...
Having done my due diligence, I'm reassured that I do still want Lost City--provided I can remember to get to the site while it's still available! (Yes, that's how I've missed a few good Designer Program sets in the past....)

How much interior do you expect to find in a building that's been open to the elements for at least a hundred years, given the size of the tree that has grown up inside it? :-)
I was interested to see that this final version of Lost City has over 500 more bricks than the version that didn't get approved through Lego Ideas. Plus I find the color scheme irresistible!

I’m with you. I own a few modulars and they are fun, but they take up a lot of room and a fully closed building doesn’t always make sense. Both for display and access.
Edit: I see that the set in question closes as well, which is pretty cool.
I'm tempted to get my first Bricklink set with the Art of Chocolate and/or the Camping Adventure, just not quite sold on the prices...

Yes BUT then sent to the normal warehouse for E-Commerce like with any other set you order.
Definitely getting the first four. I like the Lost City, but not sure it's theme and open back fit my collection.
Then again, it would fit pretty well with LOTR or Indiana Jones.
Art of Chocolate, Forest Stronghold, and Lost City are all gorgeous, but idk if I can justify that price right now, which sucks because of the limited nature of these. Might still spring for Lost City just for funsies, but great work to the artists on all of these
I'm going to get that caravan as soon as it comes out and put it next to the 21338 A-Frame Cabin :)
Wow, some gorgeous sets that are absoluteley amazing and expensive, each one of them. Wnat not to love about lego?
Fantastic Sets!
Do they ship to Japan? I really wanted...

Will you ship the BrickLink Designer sets to all countries?
The BrickLink Designer Program sells through the LEGO.com Shop. This allows us to give you a smooth shipping and support process. Unfortunately, this also limits the countries to which we can ship. Only BrickLink members from the following 35 countries are allowed to pre-order the designer sets.
America: USA, Canada, Mexico
Europe: UK, Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, Spain, Denmark, Poland, Sweden, Netherlands, Norway, Hungary, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Slovenia, Ireland, Slovakia, Czechia, Luxembourg, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Greece, Romania.
Asia/Oceania: South Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia*

Absolutely- this is the first year I haven’t bought the annual modular, and breaking that habit has made me a lot happier, as has selling some of the unmade sets I have acquired over the years. It’s made me appreciate my collection and get into to point of why I like Lego so much - the modding and world building aspect.
I love all of these sets - the prices looks fair for what you get and I’ll certainly be adding some aspects of these designs into what I already have! I can really imagine the harbour master’s office split between two shelves!
I don’t like the FOMO aspect of the designer program though, to the point where I’d be surprised if I’d buy anything from it.
I like the camping one and it's reasonably priced.
Think I'll be buying the forrest stronghold, looks great and have every other forrestman set.
